Surfside Inn

Stayed here for a night and loved it. Bathtub was huge, the bed was amazingly comfortable, and breakfast was delicious (the continental breakfast included eggs made however you wanted them). I would recommend this place for anyone looking for a nice spot to get away from the city. It is also just across the street from Queensland Beach!

Food and the people were amazing. Whirlpool tub had black stuff coming out that coated us and the tub. Had to get out and shower it away. Did write and let them know, feel a bit let down that I was told they have a cleaner they use and a couple who stayed a long time in that room before us and used the tub twice a day had no issue. Makes me feel they think we're lying. Guessing the molds and bacteria and dead skin was from the couple who had used it twice a day. :(, discouraged as I had said that they were investigating but didn't seem to think our story was real. Possibly not how they meant it to sound but it did. All else was lovely.

Very comfortable bed, huge bathtub, breakfast including eggs, which were fantasticly prepared. Very cozy, we enjoyed our visit in the middle of winter. Right across from Queensland beach. Perfect winter escape from the city.

Breakfast was delicious. The rooms were very dated and noisy being right on the road. Kind staff, just not the most modern environment.
