I have mixed feelings about this place. It was a little difficult to find because the only signage is a small note taped in the window. I expected there to be more parking because the place is advertised as a mansion. It's really a nice, large house. While there are a number of luxury features like a gym, sauna, and hot tub, everything is kind of cheap. The bathtub was an insert rather than a professionally installed tile. It was nice to have a king sized bed but the pillows and bedding were all lower quality. I would rather have quality items than tons of features (never did turn on my towel warmer). At the price, I might stay here again when I come back. If they were to spend the money on actual luxury goods, they'd have to increase the price to match.

This was a great experience for us. After 28 years in the hospitality industry I can honestly say that this establishment cares about its customers. To begin with the place is spotless; coming through the front door, the young proprietor requested that I remove my shoes. After a perfunctory glance, I didn't mind; it was like entering a fastidious friends home - a classy one who could afford to live in a mansion. It decorated with taste and properly maintained. The lawn out back is like a golf green that maintained with fingernail clippers and a ruler. This is not your average bed & breakfast. Highly recommend!

Cheers to Sam and Rebecca for a wonderful hospitable stay. The home is amazing, with fantastic amenities. An absolute pleasure to stay at. Close to shopping,restaurants etc., and a short 20 minute drive to Halifax proper. I would recommend this property to anyone that is planning a trip to Halifax. We will definitely be staying in this home should we be back in Halifax. Cheers, Paul/Terri Winnipeg, Manitoba

Wonderful. Eberything a b&b should be. Great facilities and rooms. Great host. Esspecially liked the fire the host does at night. Those little things make this 5 star.

Attended a wedding at the venue. Had all the amenities. Lots of rooms for all the guests. Great hospitality
