Super 8 by Wyndham Quebec City

I had a blast staying at this hotel and would like to extend my sincere thanks to the staff, especially Oliver, who always greeted us with a smile and made us feel welcome. The pool was perfect for children, and they had so much fun with the waterslide. It truly made their experience unforgettable. I recommend this hotel for families looking for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.

I am super pleased with my experience staying two nights at the Super 8 hotel in Quebec City. The rooms are spacious and modern, very clean, and fit with many amenities. On the main floor there is a water cooler for fresh purified water, vending machines, and an ice machine. There is a lovely pool with an awesome waterslide, and a jacuzzi to match! Joanne at the front desk is absolutely lovely, and was so helpful to my family and I. We were a little worried about service and accessibility here due to being English speaking, but we were never made to feel othered and everyone was so very kind.

We had 3 night stay at this location and it was a pleasant experience. One of the best Super 8 experience, very clean and well organized. It was fully booked but the staff ensured that breakfast was sufficient for everyone. Friendly and supportive staff. I loved the way entire staff was welcoming in guiding us for any questions we had and honestly no issues in communication. I will highly recommend this place to stay for anyone who is visiting Quebec City.

We booked this hotel mainly for our son because we knew he would enjoy the sprinklers/splash pad in the pool. We were very disappointed to learn that it’s been closed since 2022 but they still choose to advertise them as working on their website. Our room was big and spacious but the floor had a lot of scratches/skid marks, the bedsheets had stains on them and the pillows were very flat and uncomfortable. Our room keys had to be remagnetized twice as they would randomly stop working. I also experienced a billing issue where I was overcharged and had to call my bank to resolve it as the manager was no help after speaking with them 3 times. Avoid this hotel, there are so many better ones in the area.

Super 8 provided a somewhat average stay due to a pervasive, strange smell throughout the premises that detracted from the overall experience. The breakfast, while offering a variety of options, included cold boiled eggs which were not quite appetizing. However, the saving grace was the friendly and helpful staff who went out of their way to assist with any requests or concerns. Their hospitality made the stay more comfortable despite the minor inconveniences. Overall, Super 8 is decent for a short stay, with improvements needed in maintaining a pleasant atmosphere and ensuring breakfast items are served at an appropriate temperature
