Hôtel Québec Inn | Aéroport de Québec

We had studio with kitchen. Plenty of room but bed itself, which was the type that of lifted and stored as vertical furniture on the wall, was not practical as we kept hurting ourselves on the wooden encasing or the metal "feet". The sofa bed, according to our daughter, was more enjoyable. Kitchen area in the other hand was excellent. I would recommend but with a real bed with mattress. The extra space was not.warranted unless you were planning to play soccer

It's location being close to the airport is good if you are catching a flight. Otherwise, it's away from downtown and you will need to get a taxi for going there. The property is old so expect associated issues. My room was overlooking the restaurant which has live music weekends. So it was impossible to sleep early as the sound proofing is not good. The rooms have coffee but no body lotion! No elevators in this two floor hotel. The staff is friendly and the ambience is rather quaint and romantic.

I only went for the brunch. It’s quite mediocre. It has kitschy 80s charm. A mish mash of decor ranging for Corinthian Greek to retirement community Florida. And of course outdoor patio furniture inside. The brunch food is definitely low end. Not worth it in my opinion. Bacon to sushi. Cheese to jello. Service was very good and friendly. So no real complaints but don’t go in with huge expectations.

We had a park and fly package. Transportation to airport and back excellent. Paid for secured parking but no one ever opened the gate. When coming back and using the room upon returning was horrible. First room was very far from reception with luggages. Room was smoked in. Back to reception they gave another room. Thermostat was maxed out to 32. Hotel clerk could not help further and it was 4am. Lost precious sleep time. Checkout extension was refused. In the morning, cleaning lady came in walking in despite "Do not disturb" sign. Not good! When checking out front desk clerk refused to give out any compassion or empathy other than excuses. They offered only a 8$ refund for the room downgrade. Wrote up the survey and was never contacted back. AVOID this hotel please.

TL;DR: I recommend, but don't pay extra for the "secure" parking lot. Great stay, clean and confortable, the restaursnt inside the hotel was great too. We paid extra for a park and fly option, and also paid extra to opt for the "secure" parking lot. The secure parking lot is not enent fenced inn. It's actually an area surrounded by a single chain with an opening gate. Anyone could hop the chain. You have to call the front desk for them to open the gate to allow you in or out. (not a code or a pass) While there are camera for the secure area, nothing makes it hard to access. So opt for the park and fly, but say 'no thank you' to the secure parking lot. I stayed twice, in the renovated area and in the "old" area. If I'd return, I would opt for the non-renovated area. Also: Be aware that the hotel rent space for parties during the holidays: Loud parties. If you reserve during the holidays, make sure to ask for a room as far as possible from the lobby area.
