Disclaimer: I did not stay at the hotel.nnOn the way to the hotel my family and I were in a car crash, resulting in us not being able to make it for our reservation and our entire trip being cancelednnThe hotel refused any refund, despite me explaining my situation. While I understand policy, this was handled in a very cold and uncaring manner.nnMaybe we dodged a bullet seeing the other reviews mentioning bedbugs
BEDBUG ALERT: Disappointing Stay at Hotel & Suites Monte-CristonDiscovered bedbugs, notified management, and provided evidence. Initially denied compensation, but after persistent follow-up and phone calls, they eventually refunded us. Cannot recommend due to poor customer service and hygiene concerns.
TheI found it nice and big for the room-suite we took. Moreover, the staff was really nice with us, taking care of our needs. The hotel is well located arround everything in town. It is far enough from road's noises. Even if for only one night, and just for a sleep before moving ahead, our first impression was positive both for the quality and the service. I hope we will have more time to know more the place and explore more of their services the next time.
When we checked in my husband specifically said - it is my wife’s birthday please give us clean rooms. The guy at the front desk said “I only have one nice room”. We went ahead to check the rooms, smelly with stained duvet covers and furniture. Beds had hair in it We came back asking for a refund and the guy said the booking is not refundable. I have experience working at the front desk and we paid at the property so the rooms were refundable for sure when we did not like the rooms at all. Anyways, I did not want to be extremely picky so I requested if we can see some other rooms- the new rooms were better. Now the only thing in my mind was that if you had better rooms why wouldn’t you give us those when we first requested knowing that it was my birthday??? We did not ask for a free upgrade or anything just asked clean rooms.. the evening guy at the front desk needs to learn customer service for real. This comes from someone who has been in hotel industry for long. You can do better!!nnP.S. - we reserved the rooms with two queen beds each but were given both rooms with one bed.
As a couple we had one night over here, we got the classic room cost 120$ and they have reg room cost 89$ as well. First the quality of room is super good based on that price it is very clean and neat smells fresh, so if you are like me love the cleanses and proper place to stay that the best place. It was very quite has TV microwave fridge hot shower big windows brand new heat and air conditioner it was awesome.i really recommend it Service it was okay if you are looking for service go 5stars hotel or 4! The bed was comfortable the only thing when you move make just lil noise but the sleep was great and comfy overall excellent
