My favourite outdoor pool in Ontario. The free admission is great. Lifeguards on deck are polite and pleasant. However, the younger ones working the counter can learn to be more polite and respectful. They handle any question as an intrusion to their own group conversations. Lots of space and most swimmers are respectful and friendly. You get the odd regulars who might act like they own the space but that happens anywhere. The lifeguards could do a better job to educate these entitled folks that we all share the space in a public pool. The pool itself is clean and free of any debris. It feels clean and safe. The location is excellent. The facilities itself can do with some upgrading like new paint and bigger lockers but it's good enough for now. If you like swimming outdoors, this is the pool to go to.
Pro: an amazing outdoor pool Con: The facilities could be cleaner, have more functional lockers and staff that is actually able to answer questions instead of saying"I don't know".
Great pool! Lots of space, not too chlorinated. However kicking everyone out every 45 minutes doesn't seem to serve a purpose and seems arbitrary. Hopefully that will change soon Edit: there is no longer th 45 min blocks, you can go in and out as you please
Really big pool ‍ area with leisure and lane swim slots
Great location, right next to the beach. Huge pool! The width was large enough to do laps, the length quite extensive! Lockers for 25cents, a bit small can only fit a small duffel bag or a backpack folded in half-if you can. Can carry towels to the pool. Went on a cloudy day and it also wasn't chlorinated, hence a pleasant swim. The attendees and lifeguards were students, friendly and nice, although I would consider it safer with one well experienced adult on the deeper side of the pool. Also, the men's shower had only boiling hot water and no cold water which sucked as the swim served to cool me off and I didn't want to get warm again!
This is my favorite pool in Canada FYI the largest outdoor pool in North America. This water is heated !! Lifeguards are strict, meaning if you touch the water 10secs before your swim time, you will be scolded. Otherwise, they take their job very seriously, which I appreciate.
The pool is great but the staff are a little arrogant and seem lazier than other pools within the vicinity
Not having change available for lockers but simultaneously not allowing any bags at the pool is a bit backwards. Bring .25 as no where in the vicinity provides change and their pop machine doesn’t work. Please start offering change to patrons!
Awesome view best pool in all of Canada great management thanks to Julie and Emily wonderful supervisors very mature for their age enjoy lots of time there
The best outdoor pool I have ever tried. Well maintained, super cozy, and clean water. Friendly staff. The view is amazing.
