A really nice croissant café! We ordered the butter croissant and a croissant sandwich, both paired with lattes. The butter croissant was wonderfully flaky on the outside and soft on the inside, though we wished it had a bit more of that rich, buttery flavor typically found in French croissants—the outer layers lacked that depth. One thing to note: there can be a bit of a line on weekend mornings, but there’s plenty of seating available. Overall, it was a great spot, and we’d definitely visit again for a relaxing weekend brunch.
My husband and I have been coming to Le Beau for almost 2 years now and just realized that we never left a reviewit’s time to change that!nnLe Beau is hands down a top quality place! You’ll be able to find all kinds of fillings from chocolate to fruit and berry, and the owner constantly adds limited time desserts that are a nice addition!nnI think that by this time we tried every single croissant flavor, they are always flaky, airy, delicious, and the fillings are of the right sweetness level. We moved from the U.S. where treats are way too sweet, and on our first time visiting we couldn’t resist of getting just one croissant per person, we had 4 between us and some savory pastries too and we didn’t roll away from the table and weren’t in a sugar coma at all, so we were very impressed!nnIf you’re coming for the first time here are our best recommendations:n-come early to be able to choose from all of their options, be prepared to wait for a little but it’s so worth it.n-savory mushroom pastry and ham and cheese croissants are greatn-pistachio croissant, vanilla brioche are our go to now as wellnnWe are really exited to see that there will be a bigger spot coming soon, and hopefully we will see Le Beau coming to the west side as well:
First time leaving a review here! This spot is famous for its croissants and long lines, so getting there early definitely shortens the wait. This time I tried the caramel sea salt croissant—it was massive, but honestly, the filling was over the top ended up wasting most of it, which was a shame.nnDecided to give the hojicha latte a try since it’s known for being mild and low in caffeine. Not bad at all! It had a clean, strong tea flavor that paired perfectly with the rich, creamy croissant. The atmosphere here is great too, with a wide variety of pastries on offer. A lot of folks not only dine in but also grab takeaway—smart move!
It was a long time I didn’t visit Le Beau and really missed the pistachio croissant. Today I went there and ordered as always, the taste was great and hot chocolate was a bit over sweet. I believe the cafe atmosphere could be better designed and maybe more welcoming. Menu items are pricy and our invoice was 24$. I hope this review helps them to revise the menu.
Favorite croissant place of all time. They never miss with the quality and taste of their pastries. It's on the pricier side but worth it for the variety of flavors, abundant cream fillings, and freshness of each baked good! It's limited seating inside but there's patio seating during the summer. Haven't tried their drinks yet but some of the tea sounds heavenly! 10/10 will be back and wish I lived closer lol. Can't wait to try a giant brioche cube one day too haha!
