I work close to this Subway and go there occasionally. Earlier this week I got a double chicken chopped salad for lunch, and it was good enough for me to order one each for my husband and myself for dinner last night. I have the Subway app, so I ordered them for pick up, and then drove the 15 miles home to Troutdale. As we were eating, my husband picked something out that was mixed in to his salad (it was a chopped salad, so all mixed together). When we looked at it it was a piece of scrunched up foil, about a half inch long. This morning I stopped by Subway on my way to work to show them the foil. I was very polite, explained to the employee what had happened, and showed her the foil. She was immediately very defensive, disbelieving and said "I can't see how that would happen". She was very short with me, asking why I hadn't come back through night before. I explained that I live in Troutdale, and she wanted to know why I hadn't called the previous evening. She said "If that happens to me, I'm going back to the store, or calling right then". To be honest, I'm not sure what difference it would have made calling there and then; I prefer to deal with things face to face if possible and I wanted to show them the 'evidence'. I was asked in an accusatory way whether I had a receipt, and I showed her the order on the app. She said, angrily "I don't know what you want me to do". I explained that I wasn't looking for free food, or for her to give me anything, I just wanted to make them aware so it didn't happen to anyone else. I asked her to please dispose of the foil (it was at this point wrapped back up in the kitchen towel), and she looked at it like it was plague-ridden. She was still unpleasant as she walked away into the back with a sarcastic comment for me to have a good day. I told her as I was leaving that I wouldn't be back. Given her attitude, I'm sure she could care less that she lost a customer. Prior to my interaction with her this morning I was willing to put it down to an accident, and carry on buying there, but not now.

I love ❤ subways. The girl that was closing had horrible attitute. No smile, slamming things down. They need to relieve her of her job. She's not faced to work. She's getting paid. Frankly someone else would love to take her position. Will never go there again.

As the other reviews have said there is horrible customer service from the ladies there. I wouldn't go as far as naming them "fatties" because a fatty would at least be excited to help their only customer at the time with food choice. I simply asked what are your specials currently and received a moot response of "We don't have no specials...." I told them I'll find something better and went to Baja Fresh down the road and was at least treated well after a hungry ER visit day at Kaiser.
