Just took my 13 month old here last week for the 1-5 yr drop in and she LOVED it! It's a open gymnastics gym padded so that kids can just rip around. It has a faint typical gym/sweat smell but just reminds me of being a kid. The lady at the desk was very helpful and accommodating. It wasn't very busy. We went on a weekday at 1430. It was $5 for one hour of play.

If anyone in Ottawa is looking for a fantastic birthday party venue for kids, I *highly* recommend Starr Gymnastics. We attended a four-year-old's party this afternoon and I can't imagine a better place for a kiddo's bash. The activities and circuits were great, the kids were happy and active the whole time, and what really made the whole experience was Jess ("Jester"), the wonderful gymnastics instructor who led the group. He has a true gift for relating to kids and keeping them moving and trying new things. AND, his energy was admirable - after goodness knows how many parties on a Sunday, no less! Very impressive venue overall.
