Staples Courtenay

Great retail store, helpful staff on the floor. However, technical support department lacks properly trained staff, and can be very tedious to deal with. Don't expect knowledgable technical support when you buy a computer.

Not happy with Staples return policy. I spend thousands of dollars in this store (personally and professionally) and wasn't able to return an unopened laser printer cartridge for a printer that died. Was hoping to exchange it for the cartridge that I need for the new printer, something I'm sure would be no problem at Canadian Tire or Wal-Mart (because I have had similar experiences with no problem), but they weren't able to help me. If I ordered it online, the return policy is 30 days so I am out of luck there as well. Unfortunate as I have always been 'Staples loyal'. Not feeling that the relationship is mutual today...

They put a phone on hold for me while I came down to pick it up!! Saved the last one on the whole island for me ! So all in all fantastic service great staff thanks !!

A manager named Sharon from the Shaunigan lake location was very friendly and helpful when the self-serve printing station was unable to print my pdf file (?!). A shame the service was not operating as advertised, but Sharon's customer service skills smoothed everything over nicely.
