Great hospital, very friendly staff that actually care about your well being. I was in the ER this past Saturday and they got me in right away. They were very quick to do my cat scan and to start IV antibiotics. Big thank you to Roberto, the oral doctor for coming so quickly to do my abscess procedure. I really appreciate all of you for being so wonderful and I am very sorry for being so impatient while waiting for my discharge papers— I won’t do that again. I have a great care team and I want you all to know how much I appreciate all of you. <3 God bless you all for doing the work you do— it definitely takes a certain kind of person. My care was excellent. There was never a time I felt alone or was never a time when someone always show they care about me. The therapy I received was excellent thanks to that team again I never felt alone . Special thanks Joanna for making me stay for therapy .Special thanks to Ann Marie and understanding went way out of her way to my sure I did everything the right way Special thanks to my therapist she make me walk and keep me going. Do Not Bring your loved ones to this hospital. It is a horrible place. I have been asking for 4 days for my home medicine I still don't have it. I have called 2 times and asked many times to speak to someone about the lack of care and it's now days later and still no one has come to talk with me. They also don't keep it quite at night so patients can rest. Staff and patients are loud at night. They don't care about you at this hospital. Possibly save your life or that of a loved one and go to another hospital. They deserve no star's
My Boyfriend and I will never come back here for emergency care if that's what you call it. I took him to the Emergency room here in July he was in extreme pain and couldn't walk. We got there around 2 in the morning and hadn't been seen by 8 in the morning so we left and went to an urgent care and in and out in less then 2 hours. Now is the fun part he was never seen by a doctor or a nurse but they still want to charge for services he never received. Please give me some insight on how to handle this
Got my father in an er room right away. Staff very efficient. Nurse able to draw his blood easily.....most have trouble. Doctor and assistant took his case very serious and took tests and x rays quickly. I would recommend.
Worst hospital I’ve ever been to! My mom was in icu passing away and my children weren’t allowed back to say there good byes 3 years ago. No followup was ever made from nurses with her and now my son was taken to this hospital because the ambulance said they had to take him to the closest hospital to be treated. I wanted him to go to somewhere else because this one was awful. Low and behold again dealing with awful er nursing staff in psych. They transferred my 17 year old son without clothes to another hospital and never notified us of his transfer. Yes he is a minor! He went to emergency a week after I had a major surgery. What I thought was I was going to get a understanding staff that would work with me decided to be rude disrespectful and not caring at all. I was very nervous not being able to be at the hospital for a long period of time due to pain after surgery and had no choice but to rely on a nurse that I couldn’t rely on at all. Trying to go back and forth contacting her through the phone and asking her to please call when he is transferred. Only to call because I didn’t hear anything and he was already gone without clothes to wear being transferred in a gown and underwear. This hospital will most likely be hearing from my lawyer now. This momma is not happy at all!! St John you failed your patient and it disgusts me that you would allow this to happen to a 17 year old child. My son was devastated and very uncomfortable and scared already going in and you only made it worse. Shame on you!
It's worst hospital. A restroom in ER so so nastiest, dirty, the nurse doesn't know how to draw blood. The food service is so cold........ They don't care avout patents. I just see staff or nurse 4time a day. Then they discharge patients when the hospital don't give patients regular food.i am speaking up this for my lovely dad. He's pass away over 17months. They're keep my dad 4days, nothing to eats until he going home. Then 2dayslatee he left us.
Hospital keeps Covid pos patients in same area as others, staff starting with security, extremely rude, think they can talk to people like their dirt, think they are the ruler of the free world. Then there’s the nurses can’t believe people that literally or supposedly went to school for this business, apparently they forgot to teach respect & compassion, was admitted understood no food till all test done but was there 2 days, never got offered breakfast, lunch or dinner, when questioned about it, was rudely told ya gotta call yourself, but offered no menu or phone# to call, watched other people mostly elderly talk to with NO respect, conversations between staff completely inappropriate there were a couple that were respectful & courteous but found out most of them come from other hospitals it’s sad when people need help, compassion & a kind word they get belittled, ignored, generally treated like garbage, staff conversation about their personal life & weekend fun gets priority over patients, never in my life would I have thought that this kinda behavior would be what I encountered when I entered a hospital supposedly of a high quality found it even funnier when I seen many signs stating hospital will not tolerate foul language, being rude to staff, many rules for patients & family have to abide by but apparently it doesn’t have to work the other way around, ST John’s you were a great hospital sorry to say your merger with assencion RUINED your hospital, sorry to say I will never set foot in your hospital, GLADLY go the extra miles to Beaumont, I would like to thank you for the most unprofessional, belittling experience I’ve ever had at a hospital, and plz keep all your staff there, I’d hate to see another medical establishment as miserable & unprofessional as yours is!
Was taken in for a psych evil needlessly long story and intake personnel were beyond rude and condescending and I refused to even engage after a certain point due to their extreme unprofessionalism. During the eval I never once spoke with the doctor and both nurses assigned to me were rude and also unprofessional, and decided to call for restraints physical and chemical because I asked for more paper to write with. No joke. All involved should be fired and have their licenses removed for good seeing as how healthcare is supposed to help, not harm, people. Not once was I combative or argumentative, and if I had the money to sue I would. I also was not allowed to use the phone to call anyone, even those in my emergency contacts which caused needless worry for my boyfriend. Dont come here for anything. If I could rate this hospital a zero I would.
