Definitely the place to come for Chinese comfort food. I always get their popular Kitchen Soup. It is very delicious and comes in a huge bowl (wontons, chicken, noodles, you name it it’s all in there). My daughter loves the Dry Garlic ribs and Beef Shanghai noodles. The food portions are big and I have to get take out boxes to take leftovers home. I don't have to worry about making food the next day! I’ve been going to South Sea since moving to Hamilton 8 years ago and have always been satisfied. Highly recommended.

Best Chinese/Cantonese food ever! Even though the atmosphere is a bit dated, the food is worth the visit - always fresh and flavourful. Their 'kitchen soup' or 'special noodle soup' is a must to try...but be careful, the large size is a meal in itself! I can't stress enough how good this food is.... you won't be disappointed!

Came with a couple of friends for dinner on a Friday night after shopping on Ottawa St. Service was fast and friendly right upon entering the restaurant. We started with vegetable spring rolls for appetizers. They came out fresh and crispy. We ordered Shrimp ho fun rice noodles, Sweet and Sour Pork, Sesame Chicken, and steamed rice. Portions very big and nicely presented. I would recommend all of the dishes we got as they were flavourful and we loved our meal. Looking forward to returning and trying more of the menu!

The food here is amazing.. I never have that yucky msg feeling afterward. One of us feels the dining room is dated and the other loves the dining room. My favorite dish is the lemon chicken.

Hostess was wonderful, good was excellent. We had the dinner for 2B , there was enough food for 4 people, will go back again.
