Lulu's Shawarma

Sad to have moved out of Hamilton and lost access to this gem. It doesn’t look like much from the outside or even the inside but make no mistake - Lulus produces delicious meals at a good price. For the protein seekers and the health conscious, this can be a great alternative to some of the other takeout and delivery spots in the area - hence why it’s not unusual to see Hamilton Tiger-Cat players there after a workout or a practice.

What a great shawarma! I eat here every single time I am in Hamilton. The lady behind the counter is incredibly friendly and the price is great especially considering the proportions. I find myself craving this Shawarma for days after eating. The only possible drawback with this place is the fact that they only take cash, there is an ATM inside the store. I do recommend you bring cash, I'm sure that's part of how to keep the prices so good. My girlfriend loves the salad!

I really want to give them 5 stars, but you never know if they will be open. Their hours are irregular at times, without notice. Aside from that, Lulu's makes the best chicken shawarma I have ever tasted anywhere. If you get it as a pita wrap, it is an impossible mess because of all the delicious meat and sauce they load on it. Better to order it on a plate (chicken with salad or chicken and rice), with the pitas on the side if you wish to avoid wearing it. The meat portions are massive and seasoned to perfection. The sauce is so good that cravings and possible addiction will ensue. You must try Lulu's... If they are open.

Great food! Anytime I'm going to a concert in Hamilton or driving through we always stop here to grab a bite to eat. Best chicken shawarma salad I have had. I've never had an issue here - foods always great and the service is fast and friendly. I recommend checking this place out if you're in the area.

Lulu's doesn't really need reviews. If you've heard of them, you have also heard that their food is amazing. The place is small, only a few tables to sit at if you really want to eat in. If you can, plan to take out. Fair warning: cash only. There's an ATM inside, so you're covered, but if you want to avoid ATM fees, stop and get your cash at your local branch before heading in. Other than that, aces all around. Friendly staff, prompt service, great food. What more could you possibly need?
