Sparkle Northern Chinese Cuisine

I lived in Asia for 6 years and in my opinion this is the best most authentic Chinese food in Hamilton. My fav is the lamb skewers! You will not find any b/s food here!

My wife and I went a few times, but stopped when we found a cockroach on the table, presumably was riding the bottom of one of the dishes we were served. Service has gone downhill since we started going, often of late, the wait staff prefer to chat at one of the back tables then check on the diners paying their salaries. Begrudgingly, I will say they serve a few good dishes, but the place desperately needs some sanitizing and renovating.... Might try em aga andin the fall, if they're still open!

Not a bad place to eat, it serves more authentic northern chinese food which isn't to everyone's taste, although don't expect service to be amazing

Rarely do I bother to review and I almost never leave negative reviews because I figure everyone has bad days. My experience with this restaurant was so poor that I am moved to review it. First so late. Over two hours for delivery is unacceptable no would wait at a table that long they same should apply for delivery. Oh boy the food. Maybe northern Chinese cuisine is not to my liking but I kinda doubt this restaurant is a particularly good exemplar of it. I ordered eight dishes most of them chefs specials which I take to mean that they supposed to be of special quality. My main takeaway from the good was eh. Its not terrible its not great. The chicken was dry, the pork slices pretty fatty, squid mostly nonexistent, and the mussels were off (my own fault for ordering mussels from a strange restaurant). I found the seasoning on the dishes a mix of extremely over seasoned (to my admittedly very western taste buds) to bland. The shredded potato with chili was excellent and only part of the meal I really enjoyed. Even if the food arrived within a decent time I still would have been disappointed because the food wasn't great not even for the price which was reasonable. Overall extremely disappointing experience would never order from this restaurant again!
