Three girls behind the counter, none being very helpful, like they don't even see you standing in front of them. Best part is, I love my new Bogs! Super comfy, like wearing slippers!
Bad customer service in the store but also the system of “buy online and pick up today” is not great. When I showed up to the store, I was told they weren’t in stock at this location and were being transferred from somewhere else in Ontario. But the online system said they were in stock. It took 3 days for them to come in, which is fine, just don’t say I can pick them up today. Now I have to go to the store to refund them even though they are still at the store. Not the end of world, but certainly doesn’t inspire me to shop at Soft Moc in the future.
Anna at this location was extremely helpful. She went above and beyond to help me find a product I was looking for. Unfortunately it was out of stock everywhere but I do appreciate her effort.
They are selling shoes for $60 that only last for 2 weeks. Looked great new but now have to go in garbage. Such a waste of money. My flip flops for $5 lasted longer. Warranty program also looks like a waste of time as the store manager said it’s a normal wear problem and nothing is wrong with the shoe material. Will never buy again anything in this store chain - luckily there are many others who are more accountable for the money they charge.
Went in to exchange and online order and the staff were very helpful advising on sizing and style. Also, if you have WorkPerks through your employer, you can use it here.
This is an extremely busy store and staff lack the customer service skills and the people skills to be able to handle it. Occasionally they can be rude or short with customers, as they have been on occasion with me, as a result of not being able to cope with the pressure. I have noticed that the age of the staff is quite young, and if I were to make a recommendation to executive management, it would be to put a middle aged, seasoned professional in a management role here to act as a mentor to the younger ones to avoid this problem in future.
Disgusting customer service. Multiple staff members were rude and raised their voice at me. Not professional at all. Learn some customer service. There is a nicer way to speak to people if you’re in a disagreement. They need a team meeting about customer service. This place discriminates.
The customer service was excellent. Staff were kind and genuinely happy to help. They controlled the quantity of people in the store at one time so we felt good about their safety precautions.
I had made a purchase online for my 4 year old son and the shoes were way too big. As I was going to the mall with my mother in law I thought I would be able to exchange the shoes for a smaller size. Both my son and I are medically exempt from wearing masks. We are respectful to those that wear masks and kept a distance waiting to speak to the girl at the counter. Then a male Asian staff member seen us and asked if we could put masks on. I politely said we are medically exempt. I was totally disgusted and disheartened with his attitude which was literally putting his head in the air rolled his eyes at us as if we were less human because of exemption. He replied it's store policy. I said it's also discrimination. He had a smug look on his face and I then replied annoyed at his total lack of respect and said " I would be happy to take my business elsewhere and pay somebody else's wages" his reply "Ok" . I will NEVER step foot in this store again since they treat people this way. I have also sent an email to head office. I have never felt so bad when being in a store maskless. I have told many friends and family as well that will not Shop here again. Seems to be how they treat people in this company.
I love the experience of shopping here because the staff are incredible Tyler and Natalie especially. So friendly, knowledgeable, and have gone out of their way to help with online orders and exchanges.
