I rented with them for about 2 years. very good storage place to rent. Flexible hours. I will definitely come back if I need storage.

I have used few self storage companies& I found SmartStop dufferin is the cleanest facility I ever use. Whole facility is super clean. Staff is very friendly& helpful. Only bad thing about them is the rate increase. Store employees always try to help me during excessive rate increases, but their upper management is deaf& dumb. They always give stupid excuses  to justify their rate increase which are not valid. If I have to rent with Smartstop again I will only rent due to the fact that facility is very clean& staff is good, but if I consider their upper management I will never come back to smartstop.

My aunt used to rent with this smartstop location. Smartstop had a water pipe broken in the storage area early this year& all of our stuff was damaged. Store staff helped us a lot during that crisis as they provided us free moving supplies & they also gave us another storage unit so that we can transfer our stuff. We still wanted to talk with someone above the store level as store staff told us that they can't do anything on store level. After few days, we met with an old guy who claimed that he is a Regional Manager of Smart stop. That guy was very rude& disrespectful. People like him should be fired. He doesn't know how to talk with the client. If smartstop has Regional Manager's like him, then I don't recommend smartstop. It shows the Smartstop level. I wanted to give  1 star in my review, but I am only giving 3 star due to the help which we received from the local store staff as they were always helpful. Facility is nice& clean but smartstop sucks as they increase rent twice in a year& its like $40-50 in one time. If smartstop head office is reading this review, then I will request them to remove that sick old guy. He is worthless.

I rented one unit Smartstop self storage but the storage water burst, and then the almost whole 1st floor unit is a mess and has a  water demage. But the company  did nothing to compensate for the loss of water demage and they told they don't have responsibility.
All mattress, furniture home appliances and all family clothes was wet. 
They don't care about that.  
I saw so many people get upset. 

If you have also got a water demage like me please write all review.
