I've been what you could call a loyal customer of sleep country for about 15 years (in Vancouver) when my 92 year old grandmother needed a new mattress I naturally recommended sleep country. She picked a mattress and had it delivered and all was fine until she found the mattress was too firm for her and causing her severe discomfort. She felt silly bringing it up and thought it would get better but it didn't. When she finally brought it up with me she'd had the mattress for over three months. I emailed sleep country,explaining the situation, and within 48 hours Melanie called me from Montreal and without hesitation made everything better. I didn't really know what to expect, I certainly wasn't expecting everything to be this easy and for sleep country to be so accommodating. But, I'm certainly very appreciative. I don't think I would have gotten this level of service anywhere. That, coupled with the great service I've received for 15 years has made me a raving fan. I'm so pleased that I made sleep country my retailer of choice and will continue to recommend them wholeheartedly. To my little granny or anybody else in need of a great mattress from a great customer centred business. Thanks Melanie and the team in Kingston for taking such great care of us. Ian

Yesterday. Bought a pillow and foam topper. Salesman was new, but sought out experienced assistance as needed. Friendly staff in general.

I called them during store hours, nobody answered, left a voicemail, nobody called back, looked at Mattress Mart's online store, found a nice mattress at a decent price, ordered it. Problem solved. (Still haven't got a message in return). I would vote 1 star but it feels harsh since it's only been 2 days since I called.

Bought a mattress and was told that it would not be a problem replacing it if it was uncomfortable. Well it is uncomfortable because it has a huge pit in it. I believe it was damaged on delivery when they tried to jam it up the stairs. I would suggest if you have any problems you go directly to the store and not through the Sleep Country Customer Service. They are far more helpful at the store level.
