Skewersguy Japanese BBQ & Bar

It's a new restaurant. I came with my friend last week. Order combo A & B. The food and the service are good , friendly servers and tasty food, but I found they missing the rice soup when I writing the review at home. Anyway, I can totally understand a new restaurant will have some issues at the beginning, but I don't believe every customer will remember all the intems in their orders. So I deducted two stars for two missing rice soups. Worth a try ,hope they do better next time

I was driving on Steeles and see this newly opened restaurant. Menu doesn't have many selection but the food quality is good. They have dinner sets for lobsters. It's good. Portion is small though, this means it is pricy. It was not busy when I was there, service is awesome.

$20/pp ordered combo B + chicken soft bone skewers Reason for rating - although this place is called skewer guy, the combo didn't have a lot of skewer options - rice in the lobster "soup" was weird - soup is very thin and bland - the edamame, French fries and seaweed salad are 100% from Costco I wasn't very impressed with the food and ended up going to a different restaurant afterwards. Parking: Ample space for parking although the parking lot isn't well maintained.

I have dinner on Monday evening very quiet, the food is good. I will recommend friends to celebrate the party there,specific all you can eat for there items for $20 per person.Food: 4/5

Went with a party of two, staff was super nice. Food came out quickly. Beef skewer was a bit overcooked.Food: 4/5

I literally went there 3 times last week. Everything we ordered were amazing. Best skewers Ive ever had in a skewer restaurant. Decor are super nice. Service were quick, Food came quick as well. I wish they take credit card tho.

First time visiting since they have opened not too long ago. The decor is really modern and the service is really great. Seems a bit overstaffed so felt really awkward and uncomfortable having staff standing around and hovering. Did not try out a good assortment of food - wish we did - we did the promotion $20 AYCE skewers which included pork, chicken and beef. The beef was good but no spice warning so we had to order another round without spice. Pork was a little too sweet for our liking but it's probably because of their "japanese" style. Chicken was not bad - not dry so that's a +1. Overall not a lot of tables but definitely a lot of space. A good place for a group of friends but definitely not for me.

Staff was nice and attentive but the food was just subpar. Ordered combo B which is for 2 people but combo D was what was on our receipt. Although still for 2 people it was double the price. Only getting one ice cream even though it was a combo for 2 people. Nice place to try would not going again though.

Great service and the crab was amazing and fresh. Highly recommend.

Seafood set dinner price reasonable. Very good service. However, very limited selection on the menu only have 9 meat, 6 seafood and five selection on skewers. This set menu forget about about seafood allergic and vegetarian customer. Dietary restrictions: Selection very limited Set menu only have shellfish, allergy of seafood people have no selection
