I really didn't feel like cooking and I wanted to get home early so I stopped at Happy BBQ, the closest Chinese BBQ to my workplace. The Roast Pork Siu Yuk was calling to me as soon as I walked in. It was actually pretty good. All the food hanging in their BBQ window looked good and the service was very friendly and inviting. I may have to stop by more often!
Good BBQ place that's been here for years. Quality is pretty consistent
First time buying Chinese bbq from this shop. The food was very fresh & tasty. The service was quick and friendly. The portion & price were very reasonable. Will definitely go back again!
A hidden gem in a small plaza. Friendly staff and the store has plexiglass and sanitizer. The bbq pork was fresh and delicious with crispy skin.
This place is a total scam shop. Ask what the extra charge for free range chicken on a 2 meat combo was. Guy didn't even bother answering and just started chopping and then told me the total was $12.45. Was like forcing me to make the purchase since it was already chopped. Whatever just paid and left. What made this place worst was they barley gave any meat, a small wing piece and 6 pieces of roasted pork.
Still my favorite BBQ meat shop in the area. Boss Mr Yip been in business over 20 years, still keeping the food quality as top priority. Prices are up compared to previous years, but still reasonable. BBQ pork, baby pork, roast duck are the best there. Too bad, the Richmond Hill location is now closed.

Not recommended, paid more than what was taken home. You have to watch them chop, do not walk away and pay while they are chopping
The BBQ pork paid for the rib part ended up got the fatty meat without rib bones and two third of the crispy skin was missing! The BBQ pork cut out seems got switched! Very dishonest practice!
A good place to pick up Chinese BBQ meat in that mall when there's parking. Their selection is great and they do have roasted piglets. Many BBQ places require an advance order, but this place seems to have it available on the weekends without the need to pre-order. It is a special treat when I do order their roasted piglet. The couple serving the front are sincere and love small chats!
