The Silver Inn is a family-run restaurant that has been offering original Peking-Style Cuisine since 1975. We introduced Calgarians to their first taste of Peking-style cooking with dishes such as ginger beef, hot and sour soup, grilled pork dumplings, chicken and cashew in yellow bean sauce and many more.

Our family created these delicious dishes by adapting the classic Chinese recipes to match the locally available products. Fresh ingredients combined with the highest standards result in delicious Chinese food that will satisfy your appetite. The items on our menu are made from scratch, everyday, including our dumplings and noodles.

The Silver Inn is our favourite Chinese restaurant in all of Calgary. This is where ginger beef was invented, and it is still #1. Service is always great, food comes out fast and is delicious and large portions. Pricier than your typical Chinese fare, but you get what you pay for.

This is our ‘Go to’ Chinese restaurant. They actually invented ginger beef and it is excellent. The dumplings are amazing and are made in house, SO good! Some of our favourite dishes are: dumplings, ginger beef, salt and pepper squid, fried rice, beef and broccoli, mixed veggies and bean sprouts.

A Calgary landmark!  Home of Ginger Beef but also so many other great things to eat.  My kids loved the sizzling rice and the toffeed fruit for dessert.

This restaurant serves the best Chinese food in the city. Time after time we are impressed with the quality of service and food. I would highly recommend this place for not just someone looking for Chinese, but also anyone who wants a really good meal!

We have been going since 1977, and the food is spectacular. Grilled dumplings are FRESH, grilled fish is delicate and flavourful, and all the other offerings are incomparable. We live in Cochrane, but the drive is totally worth it, and none of the many other restaurants we have tried, come close to measuring up! Awesome.

I went with my friend the other night to Silver Inn. As the story has it, Mr. Wong from Silver Inn, invented ginger beef in the 70's. I enjoyed ginger beef and along side that, I had chicken fried rice and sauted veggies. It was so good. I'll definitely be back!

Horrible service would never go back ! There are plenty of Asian restaurants around town don’t need to go to a place with bad service.  Sorry next time take better care of your customers.
