Apple Inn

For the price you pay, this is definitely one of the best Chinese places I know. It's been 5 or 6 years that I come here and I never ever had a bad experience. Try their lunch special. My pictures are from the lunch special menu which I also posted.

The most aweful Chinese food I ever ordered. The whole thing was a waste. So disappointed. Next time ill save my money and wait for my regular place to be open. Never ordering here again. Plus I waited over an hour and a half for it!

This place is awesome! Same great food for going on 20 years now. All I can say is, don’t judge it by the outside or the decor on the inside. Order pick up and enjoy the huge quantity of satisfying food that you can eat again for leftovers!

A very disappointing experience….very very surprising, considering we have been extremely pleased with our previous experiences with Apple Inn. We ordered $100 worth of food as we had friends over and were looking for some good Chinese food. I want to say that there was a least one entrée I was pleased with…however, even the chicken fried rice was a bland, underwhelming experience, so, no. The fried albeit free vegetables were inedible. The sweet and sour pork tenderloin and sweet and sour spare ribs were identical in taste and looks. The free food given was not the chicken balls, deep fried shrimp or salt and pepper squid 65$ plus… instead was the inedible fried vegetables. There were sauces on the side plum, sweet n sour etc that normally should… came with meal. I could go on, but this much should suffice. All in all, a very very disappointing experience. We did not eat much of this order.

Called this location for a "dinner for 3" pick-up order after recieving a menu in the mail. The gentleman who answered was very nice and said our order would be ready in about 20 minutes. I was greeted by a polite woman behind the counter with a smile as she mentioned they added an entrée for FREE! Seriously, the quality of the food was great... and the amount of food was more like a "dinner for 5"!

Good tasting food and huge portions for the price. What more can I say! The owners don’t speak English very well but they gave us free extra items for their mistakes. We enjoyed every single dish.

Huge portions. Lots of filler. Horrible taste. Extras added to the bill. Pretty shoddy service. Old tasting oil used. Super nasty interior. I gave them 3 chances over a 10 month period because I live literally across the street. Worste overall Chinese food experience. Just don’t waste your hard earned money….. you will feel ripped off!

If we are craving western Chinese food, this is our go to place! The dishes are delicious, the service is fast, the staff and friendly, and the portions are MASSIVE! Everything is filled to the brim. It's hard to tell in the photo, but the food goes above the bottom of the container edge.

Our favourite Chinese restaurant in Calgary! The portions are enormous for the price and it always tastes good. The people who run it will go above and beyond for you.

Found some sort of bug in my wonton soup. some sort of roach looking insect. didn't substitute my rice for noodles. Didn't supply soy sauce. Lackluster taste. the rest of the food was alright
