Little City Chinese Food

Absolutely the best Chinese at a reasonable price. The staff are helpful, attend to requests or changes with certain dishes promptly and accurately. Our order included 117- extra spicy satay chicken Chow mein, 46 - ginger chicken, 72 - sweet & sour pork, 32 - beef and broccoli, 4 spring rolls. The flavour & spice in the chow mein is phenomenal, all in all the meal was phenomenal. You won’t regret ordering from little city!

The best take out Chinese food I’ve had in a long time in the city. The salt and pepper squid was pretty salty, but everything else was super tasty! I e ordered the dinner for 2 and got wonton soup, ginger beef, salt and pepper squid & chicken fried rice. Your typical westernized take out Chinese food & a good price! Will definitely order again.

This is the 'Canadian Chinese' food I remember my parents ordering. Greasy, but filling, cheap, friendly and quick. We ordered for 2 getting wonton soup, CknFrdRice, Ginger Beef and by their recommendation the dumplings, which I think they make by hand. Nothing stood out, but the beef was how I like it. We got 2 full meals from the order plus the wife took rice to work. Everything was good the next day. I'd say try them out. We will continue to try other places in the area and will update this when we do the rounds. Parking: Easy parking and street access if you plan it out beforehand.

Food is always amazing, even the dinner for one I always have leftovers for the next day. Good price for the quality and amount of food you get. I absolutely love their Wonton soup I could eat a whole pot of it.

Very original Chinese food place to have your classic fried rice or noodles and I have to say the portions are amazing and generous. Most of all the food is very well prepared and cooked. What I mean is the flavors are great since I used to think fried rice was fried rice, but I have had a bad fried rice before where it just did not taste great. This place makes a great tasting fried rice, so if you can make a basic dish great, gives me confidence in other dishes and it has not disappointed. Please keep up the great flavors and portions! Also they were very quick and friendly service.

Amazing food! My boyfriend and I moved to Calgary about 10 months ago and we’ve been on the hunt for good Chinese food, well Little City takes the cake. Excellent portion sizes, seasoning on everything was wonderful, and the prices are great. This place is our go-to Chinese food fix from now on, I would highly recommend Little City to anyone.

One of my favorite late night guilty pleasures. It's typical greasy honest Chinese food that's take out only, but that's why it's also cheaper than most places. Don't expect the very best but expect the type of Cantonese Chinese take out that's classic Canadian, automatically Jewish every Christmas, juuuust authentic enough for the local Chinese population, and honest mom & pop food all the way.

I made a mistake and ordered from a place down the road from Little city and it was the worst mistake ever. When it was delivered for what I normally ordered from little city usually cost $40 , cost me double and a 20% fee added to bill that can’t very much take off when driver comes. Just because I wanted to try something different. I was left with a bill over 100 and food that was really poor quality and taste. Sorry little city, won’t cheat on you ever again. You always satisfy my tummy.

The quality at this restaurant has been steadily going downhill for the past year. Of the four dishes I ordered last night, I would only consider the wonton soup to be worth paying money for. Everything else was severely overcooked. I certainly won't be going back.

We loved everything we got from Little City. Had the pork dumplings, shanghai noodles, and ginger beef. Since our takeout order was over $30 we got free wontons! If your takeout order is over $35 you get free dumplings! We were thoroughly impressed with the taste of the food. To be honest we just wanted some delicious Chinese dumplings with the pink vinegar but everything we tasted was beyond our expectations. We will order again for sure. This is a "nothin fancy" type of restaurant but the food was good.
