I’ve been a faithful Sierra Springs Coop customer for 3 1/2 years. The last few months, items packaged in store, are either no longer available, or they are past their best before dates. Vegetable platters have 1 or 2 days before they expire, and I can no longer purchase made in store guacamole. Bread products made in store are often not available or stale. Fresh produce is not fresh. Strawberries have rotten berries in the packages. Small red potatoes are green. Mandarin oranges have rotten oranges in the packages. Twice I’ve purchased a cream cheese fruit dip that was curdled there is no best before date on the container. I purchased hot dogs last week that were rotten also no best before date on package. Today I wanted taco shells. It’s April 5th, and there were packages in the cooler with best before dates of March 27, and April 2nd. Why are made in store items no longer available, and why are items that are past their due dates, still in the coolers? Coop has high prices, but I enjoyed their fresh, in store products. If they are either not available or past their due dates, then it’s time to shop elsewhere.
We always love to get small cakes for our family from Co-op bakery and they never disappoint us. We recently got a bigger cake for our baby's christening and everybody who ate the cake enjoyed it, they loved the design even though we didn't get the colors right on the cake. They did a great job with the cake because after 3 days the cake was still nice and soft. I'll recommend them anyway.
I am disabled.nI came to the store early for a few items.nOnly 1 til open. MANY Staff 5 standing within view of me struggling with the *#!?!! Self checkout… when I finally had to ask for assistance. Not only was the young person impatient but condescending and gave me a lovely little eye roll! I asked her if that was actually .. she flipped her hair at me, shrugged and smirked and turned her back!!!!!!nI’m out raged!!! In my younger days I would have knocked her to the floor!!!!!!!nDONE SHOPPING HERE!nThis is t the first time I’ve been treated poorly either!!!!!
Sooo years ago I stopped shopping at Co-op specifically Airdrie location because of management at the time and what they put me through...years later I am in need of a cake as I did not have time to make one...so I ordered a Cake online for pick up today, called yesterday to confirm as I had not seen an email from the bakery crew...somehow in my ordering I got the date wrong, well the bakery dept came through the staff were awesome and I will be back. Thank you to Julie and to Jilly and a young Lady I didnt catch her name at Customer service and to Sydney in the bakery for making it happen.
As I was leaving earlier today around noon, there were two co-op employees engaging in intercourse behind the car wash. To the girl with light hair, be more quiet if you’re going to do such disgusting things while you’re at work!! To the managers, I truly hope you deal with this. I had to explain to my scared child that there was nobody being attacked.
