Shoppers Drug Mart

At Shoppers Drug Mart, I've generally found the store clean and well-organized, making for a pleasant shopping experience. The staff's behavior is very helpful. Cashier service is typically efficient and friendly, even during busy times. Overall, my visits are mostly positive, marked by good cleanliness and reasonable service.

For the past 12 years, I and all my family members have taken their medicines from this pharmacy. I have had both good and bad experiences in this pharmacy. Since I live near this pharmacy, I don't go to other branches even though some of the staff behave badly. But recently something happened to me that puzzled me.nMy doctor has prescribed a medicine which I used to take 2 mg now I have to take 4 mg. And since January 2024, the doctor has repeatedly changed the dosage of this medicine. The counter staff told me that she would give me these capsules of 4 mg each. I requested to give 1 mg each which I have already taken. Since this can change again, the medicine will be wasted if each capsule is 4 mg. Then the counter staff asked for his pharmacist's advice. The pharmacist said to give as per my demand but instructed me to sign the prescription. I find this very strange. I asked for 1 mg instead of 4 mg per capsule as the medication would be wasted and it was my responsibility to protect from wastage. So why did the staff take my signature? Here is what the pharmacist thinks is a liability for him. thanks

The pharmacy at this location has let me down yet again. I took Friday off because I need to get cortisone shots in both knees. They never have cortisone in stock so it always has to be ordered which is why I had the prescription sent early this week. However! They said they never received it till Wednesday night, which is not true. This is the final straw and I will be taking my complete business elsewhere. I'm so fed up with the lack of customer service. Don't even get me started on trying to reach them by phone because it took me two hours to reach anybody today. I'm done.

Nice and clean place, there are good customer service people too but the service is terribly slow. Calls are not picked up 50% of the time or too long wait times even when you are there in person. The same thing in other pharmacies have been death within ten minutes.nThey even refused to give me meds once because Doctor gave me paper prescription and they asked me to call the doc and request fax. It was near weekend, so I went to other pharmacy and got it immediately.

im done with getting my prescriptions from this location. I choose this location due to convenience but its not convenient when you have a prescription that you need and you have to wait almost 24hrs. Its not convenient when your calling and no one ever answers. Ever. If you have a question about your prescription be sure that you wont get an answer from them. Your better off going back to your doctors or better yet just going to a different location. Or pharmacy. After this im not filling anything here anymore. I cant deal with this wait. You could give birth during the time they make you wait literally
