The pharmacist was wonderful. We were in town visiting family and had both neglected to bring my allergy pills or the name of the pill the only one I can take. They were amazing looking up the options until we found the right one. Amazing customer service.
The customer service at this location has really gone downhill, both at the front where there is only ever one cashier - nowhere near good enough for a busy urban location - and at the pharmacy, where it has become normal for the team to basically just ignore customers.nnToday, I made an appointment for a consultation and walked over. I arrived on time for my appointment, but they made me wait for 20 minutes, during which 4 different people asked what I was waiting for and then just walked away.nnWhen I finally got to see a member of the pharmacy team, he was extremely dismissive. First experience visiting a Shoppers pharmacist for a minor issue, and probably the last because it was completely a waste of time and they were no help at all.
Went at this shoppers to get eye drops, checked the expiry date and was expired, went to the pharmacy and pointed out and he called merchandise, I was told the excuse that there was a snow storm and no product was coming in, I pointed out about rotation of product, and so you guy's don't check dates? So the item doesn't sell much, doesn't get ordered it, and they expect a naive person that trust the product is still within the expiry date? Coming in or not the expired product needs to be taken off the shelf, arguing with me that I worked in a store and I know all about rotation? I had to walk away because I was getting upset, not because he was right. And let's not mention about the product with wrong price, and she fights at the self check out because no one has made it clear where the line starts, shoppers at O'Connor's and Woodbine got it all figured it out, go and check how to do it menager, kinda of going to loose it one of this days for being accused of cutting into the lineup.nNot happy...at all!!!
Racially profiled!!! Went to pick up medication. The loss prevention plain clothed security guard followed me around the entire store. Then watched as I paid for my items. East Indian man, early 20’s with black curly hair, wearing glasses pretended to be listening to AirPods. Obviously following me. Very unsettling and unsafe feeling to feel as a woman.
Most abysmal Shoppers location. Half the time you're required to bring an empty box to the register, stand in line behind a demographic that refuses to adapt to self-checkout machines being served by a cashier with no sense of urgency, leaving you waiting to purchase a single item you could've bought and paid for in a fraction of the length of the time it takes to read this review. Awful management, even worse customer experience.
