Shizen Sushi Japanese Restaurant

Best sushi I've had in Victoria and it breaks my heart to say that because the place beside my house is excellent as well. Service is great and I can't believe how good the pork was. Veggies and fruit was also very very fresh and miso soup is excellent.

Best sushi, staff and snug place for dinner. Been coming here since our first date.

Okay, so we love sushi; we’ve probably experienced 25+ sushi restaurants but Shizen is one of the very freshest & best value anywhere ~ highly recommend

I’ve said it once and I’ll say it again. Shizen sushi is the best sushi place in Victoria. So fresh and soooo yummy. My personal favourite is the highlander roll. I often order take-out on the Shizen Sushi app! Pictures don’t do it justice.

Sushi is fresh and delicious. Service was excellent, personable yet respectful staff. Would definitely dine in this restaurant, next time when visiting Victoria.

Received my food 20 minutes after my friend. The server did not apologize and was short and mean with everyone we saw. The food was cold and below average. Considering this, we tipped 10% and received a very harsh stare in return with no ‘thank you’ or anything said as we walked out. I would spend your money elsewhere.

Nice and simple Japanese. Modest space but clean. Good foe groups up to 8 and families. Call ahead to reserve a booth for more than 4.
