Owner Ali is always happy and friendly. He remembers his customers even when he doesnt see them for months due to COVID. His food is delicious and well priced.

Both our meals came out to $30. I think $5-7 less would've been a better price. The quality was ok. Beef was salty and salad soggy. Has a small bar to sit at and eat. Table was dirty and it wasn't busy. Nice view of St Andrews church when sitting at bar.

Price was $13.55 and portion was plentiful but I did not sense quality ingredients or taste. The chicken was quite dry as others have stated. I've had better shawarma in the area and will not be coming back unless the price drops or quality increases.

Average Price. Tastes fine. Meat is gaymie and dry. Place did not look very clean. Great Location. Hope this place gets better. It has lots of promise.

Convenient location near Roy Thompson Hall but no real seating two bar stools. I had the beef shawarma and my friends had the chicken. Mine was dry but the sauce and topping helped. Overall for $7, not too bad.

I really like the chicken shawarma. If you want something quick and healthy to eat, it’s a good option with the price.The staff is also good.

Chicken schwarma plate is the best in the city. Massive portion too! Owner is so friendly and just happy to see you. Would recommend for those looking to support local during these rough times.

After two years I came back to Shawarma’s King again due to my workplace change. Surprisingly, the owner recognized me and this showed me how he caring is to his customers. The food was amazing like always and I enjoyed a lot! Try the mix plate, it is a generous amount of food, juicy and delicious.
