The smell lured me in! I ordered the falafel and mixed salad. It was delicious; with very generous portions of rice. He gave me a bit of everything on the salad bar and all of it was really good! Owner is super nice and makes nice conversation. He even gave me a sample of his delicious soup. Recommend! Vegetarian options: Lots of menu options for vegetarians
I’ve lived in the neighbourhood for about 2 years now and tried a beef shawarma wrap last night. My boyfriend had the chicken shawarma wrap. OMG. It was so good! the veggies were fresh and the meat was perfect. The owner also labelled our wraps as “his & hers” - super sweet. highly recommend!
Decent shawarma but I'd like to see a bit more meat for the amount of rice given I ordered on Uber eats for pickup. The outside of the store is a but worn down. I asked for extra spicy and I was pleasantly surprised when I could taste the spiciness in every bite. The meat was well made, and it tasted good. The hummus and garlic sauce were okay. As for the contents of the meal, most of it was rice, I only got one potato and a thin layer of meat on top the rice
The food was really yummy and my friends and I loved the service. The owners were very kind and it is definitely a good place to hit up if you're craving Shawarma. I'd recommend the beef shawarma and the Chicken platter and I would definitely come again.
What a gem of a place. Fresh, big portions and friendly staff. They are going through some renovations but who cares about that You gotta eat here. I sure will again.Food: 5/5
Very clean + friendly + gourmet food + good portion + decent price Gold in the city :D
The staff is fine. Pretty nice people here. But boy is the food bad. I love chicken shawarma. It's one of my favourite foods and I've been to many places. The chicken is incredibly dry and burnt. Like you're eating stale dry chicken jerky, except it just tastes burnt. Granted I came here at 9pm, maybe the food wasn't the freshest but I wouldn't recommend this place. Good shawarma in Toronto is hard to come by and this ain't the place.
I grew up in the middle east and have rarely ever enjoyed a shawarma in Canada. Chamsine is hands down the best Shawarma I've had in the 8 years I've been here. The food tastes amazing, the quantities are generous, the people are kind and on top of all of that it's easy on your wallet too. Try the mix plate that you won't be able to finish in one sitting or the chicken shawarma or Tawook wrap that will leave you more than satisfied but craving for more!
Wow this was some delicious falafel shawarma with a very good portion but what made it unique and amazing is the choice of toppings. How about some cauliflowers, eggplant, french fries, olives and pickle... I wonder how they made everything fit but it was by far the best I've ever had. I'm definitely your customer whenever I'm in the area. Thank you keep up the great work!
One of the best places for take-out middle eastern food in Toronto. Better than Ali Baba any day of the week! Would like to see fish items in the menu and calorie info posted for customers. I'm not sure why their quarter chicken meal is not available through Uber Eats.
