We recently attended two shows in one day at the Festival Theatre In Niagara on the Lake. One Man Two Guvenors; and My Fair Lady. Both shows were outstanding! Parking was effortless on-site, washrooms were clean and attendants were helpful and pleasant even greeting us as we walked into the building. If you haven’t seen a show at the theatre definitely go it’s so worth it!
Incredible customer service from Marcus at the Shaw festival box office gift shop. very personable, caring, on the ball and was able to give me multiple discounts because I purchased five or more tickets. Highly recommend the box office and the time that he spent with us. Kudos to Office thank you.
We attended a night where two of the Shaw actors performed songs from their song books songs they use for auditions. The performance was in this incredible vintage tent with cabaret style seating. An evening of wonderful music and insight into musical performance. Highly recommended.
I have seen many plays at the Shaw Festival over the years and I have never been disappointed. The ensemble is exceptionally talented. This past week, we attended My Fair Lady. It was an evening show and the house was packed. The crowd was completely engaged in the performance. The lead actors, Tom Rooney and Kristi Frank were phenomenal! The sets and costumes are stunning and the live orchestra is incredible. The Shaw Festival is a gem in Niagara on the Lake. If you enjoy live theatre, I highly recommend that you take in a show.
Love Shaw! We're local, and it's such a gem to have in our own backyard. Saw a show Wednesday that had most of the cast as understudy. At first, I was disappointed, though I quickly realized there was zero reason to be. If that is the understudy cast...well, they were just amazing. As per usual, always professional and extremely talented. Unfortunately, during the show, there was a fire alarm, and the staff was amazing, professional and calm. They directed the patrons out to the lawns, everyone was calm and cheerful, and not a single complaint could be heard. They fetched chairs for seniors, mingled with the crowd, and made sure everyone was reassured and okay. After clearance by the fire dept, we were cheerfully ushed back, the show went on, and it was like they hadn't skipped a beat. You can't go wrong with a show at Shaw.
