In 1971, Johnny Morris rented a trailer and took off across the United States filling it with all the premium fishing tackle he could find. When he returned home to Springfield, Missouri, Johnny set up shop in his dad's liquor store. With this simple idea, Bass Pro Shops® was born.

Prefer this location over Vaughn Mills. Better layout and I find generally better selection of merchandise. Staff is very knowledgeable and helpful. Can be a little pricey, but I guess that is to be expected with the brand's and quality they carry. Has everything you need for any outdoor activities. It's so easy to end up spending hours in here. Also has ample parking.

Clean and fairly well stocked. Not as unique as the one in Vaughn (they have a fake shooting range game and a huge fish tank). However not near as busy as Vaughn location. Right next to an outlet mall for more shopping. They had some smaller adult compound bows wich is something I was looking for as a beginner female. Will probably return to purchase one in spring

Great selection and stock on sizes. Always seems cleaner and more stock than going to Vaughan Mills location. Staff is friendly and helpful.

Went to the St. Catherine's location today and had an amazing experience with a sales woman named Melba. She was awesome and helped us solve our fish finder issues. This woman deserves a raise 😀

Great shopping experience. Great selection at reasonable prices. There is even lots for the kids which makes my experience that much better.
