In 1971, Johnny Morris rented a trailer and took off across the United States filling it with all the premium fishing tackle he could find. When he returned home to Springfield, Missouri, Johnny set up shop in his dad's liquor store. With this simple idea, Bass Pro Shops® was born.

I mean, the place was absolutely EPIC as always! It's been a very long time and this store is incredible. Some things were pricey, maybe because it's near Niagara Falls? Picked up a few items and super excited for my return visit! I forgot to get over to the fishing section sooooo...ill be back.
This store is massive!!! If you have never been you need to check it out. There is so much outdoor gear to look at plus the atmosphere itself is amazing. You can spend hours just wandering around to look at everything plus there is a massive fish tank in the back of the store.
This store has all your outdoor needs, it's really big inside and has everything from bbq's, smokers, outdoor cooking, camping needs, clothing, hunting and even toys and activities for kids.nnEven if you're not shopping you can go in here just for a stroll, the set up in here is really nice as it has beautiful backdrops set up all around the store. It even has a really big aquarium where you can feed the fish at certain times with a really nice waterfall in the background. It makes you feel like you are really in the great outdoors.
We purchased a Shimano Stradic, Miravel, Fenwick Eagle rod, and some lures. The selection was impressive, and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. The store itself is amazing, with a great variety of fishing and boating gear. The aquarium is a wonderful touch, especially for kids—it’s both entertaining and educational. Additionally, they offer a wide range of hunting gear, and the large parking area made the visit very convenient. They also provide deals from time to time, and I took advantage of their protection plan for my gear, which gave me extra peace of mind. Overall, Bass Pro Niagara is one of the best fishing and boat stores I’ve been to. Highly recommended!
This is the 2nd Outdoor World I've been too, after Vaughan Mills. Store layout is very similar and they sell the same goods. Vaughan Mills has more spots for taking photos and a larger aquarium.
