Shari's Cafe and Pies

McLoughlin is our friendly neighborhood Shari's. The food is good. Breakfast all day. The photo of the omelet is taken 5/4/18 and features their newly-added fajita omelet. They have upgraded the quality of their steaks. The servers are friendly. Shari's is known for their pies. I am sugar and grain free so do not eat them but everyone I know who does,loves them. They have a senior menu 55+. They always work with me on my food sensitivities with fair pricing.

The bathrooms ruined my experience. When I go into a bathroom before I have my meal I naturally expect the bathroom to be clean. Well the bathrooms at Shari's were exceptionally dirty. So much so that it ruined my appetite. The food was rather inferior also and I thought to myself what has happened to this restaurant? I remember dining here before I moved to the other side of town. Well I visited this time and was in shock. This used to be my favorite restaurant and now it will be a restaurant that I will stay away from.

I've recently stopped in to this Sharis location more often. Usually, either late at night or to grab a coffee on my way to work. The staff are always nice, greet you and I have witnessed no writing of some pretty big orders - just put in via memory and that is a good learned skill. Always clean, but can get busy with the cleaning crew etc in very early hours if that bothers anyone but places have to clean some time. Chocolate Cream Pie!

Awesome food, great service and wonderful atmosphere to take your whole family to! Gets a bit busy at times but the staff is usually able to absorb the extra activity.

For those with a sweet tooth, try the lemon pie and the peanut butter chocolate pie milk shake. Both so good. Meals are OK, nothing special.
