Shari's Cafe and Pies

WORST LOCATION!! I frequent a lot of different Shari's and this was the worst I've ever been treated. When we went in, there was 5 tables occupied and none of them full. We saw 3 servers, so expected to get seated and served rapidly. Nope. We waited almost 5 minutes before we were even greeted. Another 5 minutes before a lady led us to the nearest booth and sat us down. She took our drink orders (coffee and hot chocolate) and we waited 5 more minutes before a server came and asked for our drink order. We let her know that someone had already taken it and the woman who had sat us down yelled across the room that she had them sitting there on the counter waiting. Even still, it was over 5 more minutes before we received them. When we did, not only were both cold, but the cocoa was bitter and the coffee was stale. We had planned on eating more, but decided that even fast food would be an improvement, so we paid for our things and left.

I'm surprised by all the negative comments. I have lived nearby and frequented this Shari's regularly for about 5 years. No, it's not a 5-star expensive restaurant, but it is definitely a 5-star reasonably priced "diner". They have such a huge variety of plates and sandwiches, that, consequently, my entire family enjoys going because they know there will be something on the menu they love. The menu diversity is awesome! I, personally, love their breakfasts. The bacon is thick cut and the eggs are always fresh. (Pancakes are not the best but are "ok") The amazing (inexpensive) pies are icing on the cake so to speak. Overall, this restaurant is a diner with all the perks. I've always had great service and they even gave my developmentally delayed teenager a job washing dishes. This place is awesome and I recommend it to even the snobby restaurant goers especially if you're looking for a place the entire family will enjoy!

No waiting,courteous employees Cean inviorment. .prices extremely high..for 2 sandwiches & fries pie for desert..over 40.00 . used our sharis card 39.00..

Seemed expensive for a Shari's. Other than that, it is a nice place for breakfast.
