I am visiting from out of state and had opportunity to book for high tea for adult granddaughter’s birthday and we all appreciated and enjoyed the beautifully decorated space, excellent service and quality of the food and beverages. Made our time together even more special. Caramel and marshmallow dessert tarts were fabulous and tea selection was varied and of good quality. We look forward to making more memories with more family!
This place is a hidden gem. Amazing brunch, fresh European style pastries, gorgeous cakes, the best scones in the Pacific Northwest! High Tea Service is a unique experience and will surely leave a lasting impression. Elka Bee's is a cherished neighborhood institution!
Went here for afternoon high tea. It was $45, which was cheaper than other high teas in the area. But the quality and value was definitely up there. The tea was in a room tucked away from the main Cafe, so it was quieter. The room was decorated beautifully and all of the plates, cups, and teapots were so cute. The owner worked with me to make a menu that fit my dietary restrictions vegetarian and no egg-based dishes.nThe server who was waiting my table was amazing with checking in. They gave a lot of food, more desserts than food, and I got 2 pots of tea as one person, but I could get 3 pots if I was with others. They had many tea options sorted by black, green, white, and another kind of tea with varieties under each. It was plenty to eat and drink, and I took half of it home. Was such a cute time, and I really would recommend for a fun outing with friends to just dress up, chat, and be a little fancy.
It's was crazy busy! But it was a wonderful experience. The food was delightful, and the service was on point. I don't know why it took me so long to check this place out. So much people recommend it. The line when we went was out the door. I highly recommend it and the owner was such a nice women . You can tell she has a kind heart.. I also got some coffee but didn't take a picture. And also don't sleep on the bakery it wiped out fast!!
I'm a wedding photographer Elka Bee's made the desserts for a wedding I recently photographed. The cupcakes and cake were not only adorable, but tasted delish too. Wanted to try the cookies and cream frosting, but those were so popular with the guests that there were no extras left haha. I tried one of the extra jelly filled cupcakes and it tasted great.
