So I came in here to get a parking pass. The line was insanely long, and honestly, a lot of new immigrants who weren’t necessarily bringing in the things they needed. The staff did seem to be exercising a lot of patience in order to service. Everyone, to be honest, I couldn’t do it. I’d be frustrated being yelled at so much, I don’t think it’s anyone’s fault Who’s there as much as it is the system that’s broken.nnEither way, I was able to get in and out of there in one and a half hours. I thought it would take longer, but I can see these guys are doing some hard work so I wanted to leave a positive review.

I arrived with the help of a friend to apply for a health card renewal and Ontario photo card. We arrived very early on Saturday at 8:20 AM to get in line before it opens for 9 AM. It is recommended to come in the morning to avoid hours-long wait time. There was already 11 people waiting outside ahead of us in the freezing cold and rain. There is a Tim Hortons walking distance to wait inside if you have medical needs and have someone to stay in line for you. By 9 AM, there was around 25 people waiting outside. Once it opened at 9 AM, they let us inside to wait. Its very small office so most were still outside waiting. It took 23 minutes in total of waiting and processing. The line went fast as there were 4 workers. The worker was a friendly east-asian woman and it took just a few minutes to complete. I had to strategize location, time and having someone to go with me in order to get this done because it is a stressful experience due to long lines that usually takes hours during the day, uncertainty of drop-in cut-off time, and locations not having enough seats or a public washroom for those with medical needs.

Line was super long and moved so slow. Having to stand and wait in the hot sun for over 2 hours is unacceptable! There should be a shaded area built above and there should be a better setup to make the wait outside more fast, SAFE and humane. I couldn’t believe it, it was so hot people’s faces were getting burned red. I felt so sorry for everyone involved. Please fix it, it’s so wrong.

I provided my documents to renew my health card and the operator operator #8, since he didn’t give his name said it wasn’t enough because my passport was expired. When I told him the expired passport was fine since it was less than five years since its expiry date as stated on the OFFICIAL WEBSITE, he said it doesn’t matter what the OFFICIAL website says. I was told my debit card he said credit OR debit would be enough as additional documentation, so a second trip was made, I waited in line again and wasted an entire extra hour, ONLY to be told it STILL wasn’t enough!nnMy brother went to renew his health card with the same documents and had no issue. My sister gave similar documents and had no issues. When we told them this, they said it was because they needed both my name and signature. My passport has both, my debit card has only my signature but I was TOLD my debit card would be enough, my documentation has my name! The excuse they gave as to why my sister specifically had no issues they gave none for my brother as far as I know was because she gave her pay stub and I didn’t, but her pay stub doesn’t have her signature, and her passport was also expired as was my brother’s!! Operator #8 did not help us at all and only tried to dismiss us at the end. I wasted so much of my time there, and I still don’t have my health card despite all my CORRECT documentation so I need to go again. I don’t even fully trust this centre to help me anymore.nnAbsolutely terrible service and experience that ruined my mood. You might save more time going to a farther location from you, and hopefully the employees actually follow procedure instead of trying to get you out when they fail to.
