North York General Hospital Emergency Room

This place is pretty clean, and the services run smoothly if you go early in the morning. The doctors and technicians are very nice and professional. However, the administrative staff at the front desk and registration booth seem arrogant, and their customer service is lacking. The way they handle patients at the first point of contact might actually add more stress to the experience. I urge management to pay attention to the frontline staff who are responsible for assisting patients. On a positive note, the security guard was very helpful. Overall, my experience was good, but the customer service at the front desk and registration booth needs improvement.

Excellent facility, especially emergency department. With continuous in flow of patients, all staff and doctors work efficiently and do their best to provide best care. Over crowded unfortunately. Interestingly, emergency doctors treat only obvious problems and not familiar with the hidden issues like early symptom of shingles and sudden hearing loss SNL.

Today was a terrible experience visiting the hospital. The ambulance brought me and the child with a temperature of about 40 degrees. We hoped and asked for help so that the child could be examined by a doctor. But the doctor never looked at my child. I came to the nurse many times and asked for help, to which I was told that there were more important patients, and my child was not important! People, never go to this clinic! This is hell! Nobody will pay attention to you! No matter how you beg for help! We never received our help at this clinic! We never received help from this clinic and went with the child to another hospital, where they helped us! Don’t waste your time on this clinic, you won’t end up with us. Take care of yourself and your loved ones!

The best ER ever. I read the negative reviews but none of them existed for me. I checked in at 8pm on Friday night. I came to see my abdominal pain and was quickly met by the nurse and assigned a zone. I was in the Yellow Zone. All the nurses and doctors were very friendly and willing to help patients with their problems. It was just that everyone seemed to be in a hurry. I had all my problems and test results resolved by 11:30pm. I have never waited so short a time in any emergency room. Highly recommend visiting NYGH.

The emergeny hospital is clean and they are systematic. I didn't have to wait for too long. It was only 3.5-4hrs inside the emergency hospital. Even in MRI Imaging Dept, they are good and systematic.
