I can say enough about the staff and facilities at Guildwood. My parents have lived here for 4 years. My father was recently hospitalized for two weeks so I moved in to care for my mother. Every single meal was outstanding! The food was hot, delicious and the variety was unexpected. The staff who delivered our meals were wonderful! Very friendly, kind and always smiling! I tip my hat to the chef and cooks in the kitchen! I have no idea how they do this three times a day! I have also become a puzzle junkie! What a great place to live!

My 92-year father lived at the residence until his passing in August. I highly recommend the Guildwood location. The common areas are very nicely appointed and the rooms are perfectly suited for the residents. The shared facilities and resident's rooms are kept very clean. The staff are very friendly, very accomodating and always keep the resident needs as their number 1 priority. I especially appreciated the kindness of the staff and management after my father's passing, they were very helpful and responsive to my needs.

November 2025nI have to mention again how supportive the nursing centre is! They are sooo helpful, thoughtful and kind!!! Truly great team of caring and supportive people They are so knowledgeable and they patiently guide me along the way in supporting my mom.nnAlso, the dining room staff are always so friendly and work so hard at their job! You treat everyone with such caring ways and with such respect! I appreciate you all so much! And everyone I meet in elevators agree your food is he best! Yesterday in the elevator, it was the chocolate pudding that was the topic of conversation.nnFebruary 2025nBoth my mom and mother in law love living here. One has been here for years and the other 6 months. Food is great, and the employees are so professional, kind, friendly, relaxed competent and more. The building is not a huge tower, rather a more intimate 5 stories. The rooms are big, clean with great window views of the escarpment. Support in keeping moms content, happy, entertained, and protected 24 hours a day by staff for mishaps such as falls or health concerns is so comforting for us the family care givers. Having access to a family doctor who is weekly in the building is also such a blessing, as simple things such as medications are so easy to adjust. We highly recommend this place to others.

Venvi Guildwood was my mother’s choice for her retirement home, and what a great choice it was. The wellness centre has certainly taken great care of her and taken away my worry as I live far away. Everyone from Giles the manager Jaini office manager front desk are helpful and so friendly. The dining is lovely with a delicious menu and alternates to suit every taste and the wait staff are so obliging. Now she eats well and enjoys company at meals and social events. Markthe chauffeur is caring and a great asset to her new home. Best choice we could have made.

This is a special group of people,nUp until last week my dad resided at Venvi Guildwood, he moved in last March, truly loved every day there as we always felt the people were part of our family, leaving was extremely difficult him.nI would like to thank Giles, Irish, Jaini Dianne, your help and support was so appreciated, all the support staff that helped my dad, thank you, he thought you people were truly the best.nThank you all for the kindness, respect and caring you gave dad while he was in your home.nWe will truly miss everyone.nGordon & Cheryl
