100/5 As a rookie gardener with a sudden affection for roses, this place served as one of my top destinations so far of over 10+ garden centres visited in the past month. Staff are superb, knowledgeable and extremely welcoming. Nursery area is well laid out, quaint, and absolutely gorgeous. Prices are reasonable for the quality of roses sold - one cannot compare to the bare root varieties found at your local big box. Endless variety of David Austin English roses brought me all the way to Langley. I personally picked up the Golden Celebration and The Lady of Shallot varieties for myself, as well as a couple of other bushes for family and friends. The only regret I have is that there isn’t nearly enough space in my garden to plant anymore roses. Will definitely recommend in the future and well worth the trip out!
Excellent customer service especially by Jedi the Standard Poodle. I have been coming to Select Roses for years and the selection of stock is overwhelming. All of my roses from here are healthy and have weathered our cold winters and heat dome in North Vancouver BC. The only downfall is I do not have enough room in my garden for all of the beautiful varieties.
I love going to select roses, owner Brad has created a beautiful environment. the staff is aways very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend them for all your rose needs!
I walked in thinking I had an idea of what I wanted. There was an amazing woman who’s name I should have gotten. She knew her stuff. Asked me great questions and helped me nail dow two beautiful roses I never would have chosen. But thanks to her they were roses that suited my garden and my type of gardening upkeep. Cheers guys!

Brad Jalbert and the team at Select Roses are just terrific. Brad is a globally renowned hybridist whose passion for roses + other floral and plant life is second-to-none! I have been a customer of Select Roses for many years, and always enjoy traveling out to visit the nursery in Langley Township, where the variety and quality of the plants on offer are exceptional.
I have purchased many roses from Select and Brad over the years and never been disappointed. Just purchased 6 and Brad's Mom was very helpful. One rose last year was mislabeled and before we could say anything they wanted to correct the error. Biggest issue on opening day was number of people but selection was great so all was well. Great people and place to buy. With 37 roses it is getting to the point that it will either be roses or marriage. Ummm I have to think about that.
The only place in the entire lower mainland to buy Roses ! Don't go anywhere else. Huge amount to choose from in an absolutely beautiful setting. Amazing!
Both my Mum and I have got many roses over the years from Select Roses and I would not go anywhere else. I recently moved to Hope and will be making the trip to Select to get roses for my new garden.
Pros: Knowledgable friendly staff, well priced roses Cons: Less than the number of varieties advertised on the website, dolly hard to move on the pebble road Overall: 8/10
