Scotsman's Well

Came on wing night on Sunday. Lemon pepper wings were good. We also tried the fish and chips - 2 big pieces of cod. The fish was juicy and not dry. Was great with the tarter sauce. Fries were fine. Coleslaw was average. Beers were good. Service was fast and the atmosphere definitely had a Scottish feel to it which we appreciated.

Food was very fairly priced for the size and quality. Atmosphere was also very cozy and beautifully decorated for Christmas. I unfortunately did not catch our waitresses name, but she was absolutely delightful and very friendly! I would highly recommend to anyone looking for a great deal and nice time out. 10/10!

The prices were decent food was great and a nice big beer to wash it down. I would definitely go back for a other meal.

Nice place, excellent vibe, pretty packed.nCons: service was slow, TV's only showed Golf and not anything else Olympics etcnWings were over-sauced. Very clearly just emptied the bottle over them rather than coating them evenly. Would I come back? Yeah, good vibe, good food prices.

Scotsman is our local pub we tend to do lunches and take out and they have great wings and beef dip. Atmosphere and staff are always pleasant and quick to get you what you want.nnOnly downside is we have two young children and it is an 18+ pub, it would be great if they allowed minors on the weekend for brunch. Our kids love the chicken fingers but only get to enjoy them when we do take out. Any chance of changing the policy would be great as our youngest is 7 so it will be 11 years before we can go as a family.nnThanks again for the great food and service.
