OEB Breakfast Co.

I have been to a few locations of OEB and university district has to be the BEST location. Very beautiful ambiance and such a great vibe. Love the customer service. My server was the best. She found out it was my birthday and got us a complimentary crepe. I literally started crying lol. The lobster scrambled was soooo soooooo good. I am going to this place over and over and over again!

I really wanted to love OEB in the University District – the location is so convenient for a lunch break from campus, and the space is bright and inviting. Unfortunately, it is extremely loud inside, to the point where you’re almost yelling across the table to have a conversation. For a quick break from work, that makes it hard to relax or connect. At these prices, I was hoping for a higher caliber of both food and service. While the menu has creative options, the overall experience just didn’t quite meet expectations for me.

Breakfast poutine is a 10/10 for me! So many options, someone is bound to find something they like. A bit pricy but very good quality so it’s worth it in my mind!

Really enjoyed the breakfast tacos and mango juice. Lots of great flavour. Recommend 10/10.nnJust a side note: While trying to pay with a debit machine, the screen wasn't compatible with my polarized sunglasses, making it difficult to see the screen.

We went to OEB for our early Mother's Day brunch, and everything about the experience was just perfect. From the moment we walked in, the service was outstanding—especially the twin servers who were so kind, cheerful, and genuinely attentive. They made us feel really welcome and taken care of. The food was absolutely amazing. We ordered coffee, and it was rich and smooth—just what we needed to start the meal. The burger was juicy and flavorful, and the banana pudding was such a delightful surprise—sweet, creamy, and comforting. The smoked salmon benny was probably my favorite; the eggs were perfectly poached, and the hollandaise had just the right touch of tang. Honestly, every single item we ordered was spot on.nnIt was such a lovely way to celebrate Mother's Day, and I couldn’t have asked for a better place to enjoy it. OEB truly made it special, and we’ll definitely be back again!
