Big T's BBQ & Smokehouse

Great place for BBQ. Portions are very generous, food is tasty, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is not very large, so there can be a bit of a wait at peak times, but it's worth it. Although there is a full bar, this is a family-friendly place and children are always welcome. Even if you don't have the biggest appetite, drop in for an appetizer or two (the fried pickles are a favorite). You won't be disappointed.

Pickup only. Great menu with good selections, reasonably priced for the portion sizes. We found the Dusty Rib Ends were a little bit chewier than expected, however, the beef brisket was fantastic; moist and tender. The "Dirty Rice" side dish turned out to be quite tasty as well. Will definitely order from here again.

Great friendly waitress, great food and sauces, love the music and the aesthetic. Waitress refilled my sweet tea before it was empty which is always a big plus for me. Pulled pork sandwich is delicious, fries are pretty average but I always love fries so I can't complain. Sweet tea is great. Overall great place to eat.

Great BBQ restaurant. Smoked - fall apart as you eat - ribs, and wings. Great meatloaf. Three fantastic in house sauces to compliment the menu options. Can be busy and require waiting for a table. Football stadium across the street likely affects business of restaurant, so check game schedule to avoid some of the crowds.

Can't rate the food because we never got a chance to eat. We were a party of 6, post football game, so we expected to wait. Two of us came early to get our names on the list as we knew it would be busy and we were told it would be a 20-30 minute wait - no problem for us at all. We waited patiently for 45 minutes watching multiple parties of 2 and 4 that arrived after us be seated at tables side by side that could easily have been pushed together for our group. When we finally asked the hostess about the wait, she brushed us off by saying there was no tables side by side to connect. One of our group pointed out that this wasn't true as we had watched those very tables given to others. She then said she could call the last table back and make them wait until we were seated - !? After a total of 60 minutes of waiting, we gave up and left. I suspect she made a mistake seating people in the rush, forgot about us and gave away the wrong tables. This would have been no big deal if she would have just admitted the error and apologized - we were fine chatting while we waited and we're all reasonable adults that understand errirs happen, but after that attitude, we had had enough. I understand it's a busy time and that there were half drunk rowdy football fans to deal with, but we were more than patient and gave them plenty of time to organize the dining room accordingly.
