Scandinave Spa Blue Mountain

Went here yesterday. Nice ambience. The wait time was 3 hours however the water is seemingly dirty and it doesn’t seem like there is round the clock maintenance and people are not observing the quiet ambience. The staff was very polite and they had a good assortment of wraps and salads that could feel refreshing after a long day. The sauna was amazing which had the eucalyptus inside it. The infrared sauna was hard to make sense of as many people sitting inside were starting to laugh as they could not figure out the point. Overall, would come back again.

This was my first time at the Scandinave Spa and I honestly didn’t know what to expect, however, it far exceeded any expectations I had. I simply went for the pools on a weekday in the middle of the day so it wasn’t so busy. I highly recommend going on a weekday as early as possible and getting as much time in the saunas and the pools and the hot tub’s. It was such a relaxing time, the atmosphere, the weather was perfect everything was just amazing!

Terrible experience. Went to the whistler location couple months prior and blue mountain was the complete opposite. People were permitted to chat away like clucking hens throughout the facility and this one bozo starting eating a nice crunchy apple in one of the lounging rooms. No staff enforced the no talking rule in fact told its customers they could talk at a quiet level!?!? These spas are expensive and need to be consistent across the country. I was way more relaxed after my whistler experience and stressed out after going to the blue mountain location. Absolute joke.

Had a very nice and relaxing time. For her around 5:30 and it wasn't overly busy. Had a massage at 6:30 and after that the we only a few people left until close. (this was a Tuesday). Very clean. There was a great stream sauna that smelled of eucalyptus... Only issue is that even the hot baths went that hot. Otherwise had a great relaxing time. Hammocks, deck chairs, and larger round chairs (could can fit) to relax in after your hot-cold sequence. Burning fire to warn you if you're chilled. It was a cooler summer evening when we went, so it was very relaxing. I don't think I'd want to be there in the heat of the day.

Very fun experience at night in the winter. Make sure you check their twitter feed for capacity level. It's updated very frequently. Try to avoid Saturdays! We went on Sunday, and it was much nicer. Make sure you sign in early in the morning, and they'll call you when it's your turn. We signed in around 10:00 am, and told them we'll be back in town around 7:30 pm, and it worked out perfectly. I think this place is nice year round, but it's especially nice in the winter, when it's cool out. It's nice to sit near the fire after a soak. Very neat experience! Would I come back? Yes, when we're in the area and timing works out. Should you go? Oh definitely try it on a quiet day, especially at night!
