Nails & Spa Collingwood

I visited yesterday for the first time and had a manicure by Diane. Honestly, it was the best manicure I’ve ever had. She spent the time to really clean my cuticles, and then took the time to talk to me while my nails were drying. I will definitely be going back. Great customer service!!

Worst experience I have ever had at a nail salon. I went in asking for a manicure. Not a shellac manicure, just a plain old manicure. The male employee pushed me to get a mani / pedi and I refused several times. He then tried to push me to get shellac which I refused many times as well. When he started filing my nails, he was so rough I kept having to pull my hands away. He sliced my one finger with the nail file and made it bleed. I’ve had this happen before at a nail salon, so I fought through it. Then he started cutting my cuticles and made another bleed... I was tempted to get up at this point, and then he proceeded to cut my entire cuticle off of my other finger?!? It was dripping blood and he couldn’t get it to stop. Thank goodness, Diane stepped in and finished my manicure. She was lovely, did a great job and apologized profusely. I am completely appalled and will never, ever go back. My fingers are swollen and sore and bled for hours after my manicure!!! I suggest never going to this salon, or if you do, never let the man do your nails!!!

I had my nails done yesterday and had huge quality issues. They fixed them up by re-doing the top coat. Today (1 day later) one of them chipped and it all started peeling. Every single one of my nails had the shellac peel off in one whole piece. No tools or acetone at all. That should not happen on the second day.

I had my first visit at Nails and Spa yesterday. I got a mani and pedi and was very happy with how my nails looked. Great service and friendly staff. I will definitely go again.

I did my nail with the owner called Diane, she is rude and very rough on my fingers , she kept pinching her own nail into the skin around my fingers ( to wipe the nail polish off of it or even holding my fingers), she kept twisting my arm to fix my hand position for her which I’m sure she could ask for it in proper English ! , it was the most unpleasant and painful nail polish I got in my life. instead of proper communication she pushed my hand away ( which means I’m done with this hand) I found it really rude and unprofessional . Not coming back ever again!!!
