Regal Nails Salon and Spa

What an awful experience. Got Acrylics done on Monday and after them not being able to do french tip polish or add a basic decorative flower on my ring finger (because she said too hard) the polish chipped off within 3 days! That's unheard off with Acrylics and shellac!! I went back today to get them to correct their mistake and she tried charging me $30 dollars for a polish change. Crooks! I will never be back. So incredibly unprofessional, and definitely lacking ANY type of customer service or basic nail skills!! Save your money my friends, go elsewhere!!!

I've been getting my bails done for 15 years and I can tell you this place sucks. They made me file down my own nails, left my nails looking ugly, thick and square and gave me attitude the whole time. Worst place.

Staff are friendly but there's nothing regal about this nail salon. It's located in a Walmart. If you need to use the bathroom you have to go into the Walmart to pee. Not my fav.

Regal nails in Collingwood is the worst salon I have ever been in. I have had my nails done since 1994. Some places are better than others, but this place is terrible. I had a fill and a permanent French done. Within the week the nails started to peel from the tips back until the white was no longer covered in gel. I was away and didn't make it back to them until the end of the second week. I didn't see a problem with this as the nails should never have peeled like that. I had done nothing out of the ordinary with my nails. When I went in I told them the story and showed them my nails. At first I spoke to a young lady that kept repeating after two weeks you should have fill anyways. I told her that they had hardy grown and I always went every three weeks. She then sent over a man, probably the owner. What I could understand he was saying all French nails peel like that. I know this is not the case. He asked me what I had done and I said very little, just relaxing. I could see about four customers in there. As I was speaking to him another lady, I assume she was the other owner started to shout not at me but at the other customers. She said these people come in and lie just to get something free. She also said she was the expert on nails and I wasn't. The customers were all looking at me with an astonished look on their faces. The man behind the desk told her to shut up, but she was still yelling even after I left. The original lady just kept repeating need fill over and over as I was trying to resolve the problem with the gentleman. In the end he told me he would have to redo them to make them right and this was going to cost me 45 dollars. I told him I wasn't about to pay for another fill when I had no assurance it wouldn't turn out the same as I already had. I said that I would go to my regular nail salon as they knew what they were doing. It was like a circus trying to speak to them. My husband was with me and he was appalled at the customer service. If you go in there, hope they do nothing wrong. If they do and you decide to go back and tell them, be prepared to be humiliated and barked at by numerous people all at once. If there was a negative rating I would give it to them. They really don't even deserve one star.

I have been going to the salon for over 2 years now and never had any issues there, staff was nice and friendly, was quite surprised to find bad reviews...
