Sandman Hotel Abbotsford Airport

Got bit by some sort of spider in the bed and currently have 3 marks on my body as the doctor confirmed it. I have the photos and videos but they're quite disturbing and I'm sure they would probably be taken down. And no it did not come with me as I had showered beforehand and only had brand new clothes with me.nnOther than that it's quite odd there's not certain things in the rooms that should be provided such as tissues, water and some paper plates.nI found a tissue box in the bathroom which all the tissues were a dark yellow color and was clearly unsafe to rub on my mouth with. It was pretty noisy as well but I don't really care about that.nnThe only thing that kind of looked good I guess was the purple wall in the room.nnWill not be coming again. This is a 2 star hotel and that's being generous.

The room was beautiful. The bed and pillows were not. It's right by the freeway so you'd think it's well situated but it's such a convoluted mess of highway access, turning lanes, and bad Google directions that it can be a nightmare to get into. But having said all that we would stay there again. The room was very clean and quiet.

Stayed with my family for a vacation. Rooms were clean. The lobby was nice and had a coffee station. The pool was a bit strange as the hot tub was cold and an awkward size, had to keep telling the front desk there were no towels and would have to wait for some. Over all was a good experience.

The location of this hotel was excellent. Close to plenty of retail and eateries. Easy to get in and out of the parking lot. The room was well appointed but everything was packeed in pretty tight. The TV picture was below standard. Staff was friendly. I would stay here again.

Would give zero stars. More than $200 a night, and they don't even offer a complimentary breakfast snack. Just really shitty coffee. Sandman takes way too much money from their guests to not offer even a fruit basket at breakfast. Pretty shameful when you can stay at much more affordable hotels and get a lot more hospitality.
