Sammy’s Avenue Eatery is a locally owned sandwich shop and cafe. There is an emphasis on fresh ingredients and I appreciate my order being prepared right in front of me. I especially wanted to point out their breakfast sandwiches. I had a ham and egg sandwich on Texas toast. Truly the highlight of my order. Ham and Turkey sub on wheat was also quite good. Had pleasant conversation with the employees while I was there. A friendly group at Sammy’s.  I look forward to stopping in again, particularly for breakfast.

Roasted chicken sandwich was wonderful. Generous portions for the soup. Service was a little slow but otherwise a great experience!Recommended dishesRoasted Chicken

Was there for lunch but  had breakfast, pancakes n eggs w veggie sausage! It was good! I had chai too n total was $12 ! Affordable, delicious, a whole vibe. And girl at front, so nice and helpful. Adding place to my favorites.Food: 5/5

I love Sammy’s sandwiches on bread but I try to avoid bread so I ordered the salad. It was spinach greens with crisp cucumbers. So delicious. Ordered an Americano a few years ago and it was bad. The current barista made my Americano spot on!

I got sandwiches catered for family at my toddler's birthday. Everyone was impressed with the sandwiches and wanted to know where we got the food.Food: 5/5

Customer service was so bad. First time I went in I had to wait over 30min. Some of their bread was definitely had mold on it. Some things are overpriced and they put a piece of meat on a sandwich that cost way more than it should. I've given this place multiple chances now I never go and warn others about my experience here.

Super friendly clean and fresh ingredients. It has a neat old time feel. Real food and real people!
