The Freehouse

The food was all delicious! It’s a cool place to be here! The waiter was very friendly and nice. The only thing that I don't understand as we arrived early and the front desk staff told us the table will be ready when the time was close to the time I made the reservation. So we waited there for about 20 minutes. But We also saw one of the tables was empty for about 20 minutes. It was very interesting :

A fabulous place! Good outdoor seating with fire pit. Inside has a brewery and very spacious. Food is super super delicious! Never had cheese curds or chicken strips like this anywhere else. Super light batter and still has its crunch! Service was fast too

Freehouse to me is your normal sports bar place with inside/outside dining. The service is good and everyone on the staff spoke to me. I sat at the bar, it wasn’t a busy night so my service was very good. The food quality is good, it have flavor and it was hot. The menu have many options from you to choose from, it’s suitable for everyone. The vibe in the restaurant was also great, a bunch of people having a good time enjoying themselves. All smiles and positive vibes I love it! I will come back for sure and have more different drinks. The weather was perfect that day I should have sit outside lol. The bathroom location sucks, it’s far from the restaurant. I believe it’s shared with the residents that live there smh, it’s not that safe in my opinion. The parking deck is close to the place, it’s about $7 depending on the day. The parking sucks in my opinion because you are unlikely to find a free or cheap rate. Freehouse is worth a try, everyone will have a different experience here so I suggest come and enjoy.

Appetizers were amazing. Trout dip was so good so was the chicken strips and the tuna. But when it can to entrees. That is a different story. Had to send back to because they were ice cold. The pasta was steaming hot but no one stirred the noodles while the cooked so they were a big clump in my bowl. Maybe just a bad day in the kitchen. Will try again just for the starters and drinks. That’s it.

Cocktails were next level. Everything we ate was great. The only thing better than the short ribs our server, Emily P, recommended was her service. I recommend you try out The Freehouse.

Food is delish, service is awesome, our waiter Jack M was hilarious and made the experience that much better. You can see the brewery and the kitchen from most places you can sit which I thought was a unique and welcoming touch. The rest of the staff was super friendly as well! Our entrees were about $15 each as well as some really good cheese curds. Will definitely go back! Also their ranch is the best ranch i’ve ever had.

I love this place! My first time going was this past Friday February 11, 2022 to celebrate 7 years of friendship with my Bestfriend. The food and drinks were really tasty. The orders also arrived really fast. The vibe was so nice. It’s a pretty active place so you don’t have to worry about overhearing other people’s conversation and vise versa. I highly recommend this place. Booking a reservation is also very easy and straightforward as well. Our waiter Chloe was very timely, helpful, and well rounded. I can’t wait to visit again soon!

Such a great place. The food is always amazing. Great service as well. They were busy when we were there and still handled our orders in a timely manner. A must stop! You will be glad you did.

Last visited on 9/13/2021. While hanging out in Minneapolis for the evening Bae was doing some Yelp'ing since it was dinnertime. She saw the great ratings this place had so we gave it a shot! Here's how it went... Atmosphere/Appearance: Set right in the northeast section of Minneapolis is this gem. It's a trendy spot that looks SUPER modern and wide open. The ceilings are high, there are the latest flatscreens hung all over, giant steel vats where beer is made are in plain sight and giant glass windows allow great views of outside for people watching. The music was chill and the atmosphere was even more chill. It was a weeknight so it wasn't super busy, but I know during the weekend this place gets LIVE. Service: I forget the young lady's name that took care of us, but she was awesome. There wasn't much going on so she was able to give us her undivided attention and that was good. Food: I was feeling healthy so I went with the Honey Lime Chicken Salad which is a bed of mixed greens underneath sous vide chicken breast, grape tomatoes, charred sweet corn, golden raisins, avocado, blue cheese, bacon then drizzled with honey lime dressing. It was delicious. The chicken was seasoned so well. The sweet and savory dressing melded well with all of the ingredients in the salad. Value: My delicious salad was only $16.50. I'd say that's a pretty great deal for the quality of food I got and the portion! In conclusion, I really enjoyed this place and I'd love to come back here and hang out. So if you're reading this... Visiting Minneapolis and looking for a good place to eat - we found it. Brussels are amazing and the fish tacos have just the right amount of spice. A little disappointed they could not sit our whole party together since we had 2 separate reservations.Dine in: YesOutdoor seating: YesTakeout: Yes
