A late night eatery sent from GOD. We were in the area on Friday night and everywhere else stopped serving food at 10. Luckily this little gem was open and it had a high rating, so we gave it a shot. The staff were all super chill and friendly. The spot is tucked away in a nice little corner and very cozy. There is a small dining area and a bar available with a couple seats as well. The food is reasonably priced and delicious. The seafood tacos were my favorite and washed it all down with some house margaritas. Definitely worth a trip if you are in the north loop area.
Initially, I was going to go to Sarpino's which is like three blocks away, however, I didn't feel like spending $28 on a pizza and I've been wanting to try out Fuzzy's for a while. About the most difficult part is finding it as it sits mid block off of the front courtyard but once you find it it's very easy to find from there on out. Great menu ranging from chips and salsa to all kinds of Tex Mex. I tried one shrimp taco and two beef tacos and to be quite honest, I believe their prices for their tacos are very reasonable when compared with places like Buffalo Wild Wings. The tacos were phenomenal and the staff is friendly and they have a pretty much a full bar if you're into that kind of thing. I'll definitely be going back.
I just got done speaking with Ed the owner on how badly the North Loop needed something like this. Fuzzy’s is a fast paced lunch spot that is reasonably priced with amazing tacos. On top of this they have a full service bar with frozen margaritas. Great food, friendly staff & priced right! 10/10 would recommend!
Coming from Texas back to MN, there are a few things I miss. Fuzzy's and Torchy's tacos are the best Texas has to offer and having Fuzzy's here did not disappoint. Best experience and the owner is amazing. Lawn games on the patio and a great indoor seating area really set this place apart from the usual taqueria places you see. I will make it a point to come back on the regular.
I had heard a lot about the tacos here so I decided to visit one night with my family but sadly the experience was completely ruined. The tacos were actually quite nice but the Coca Cola drink that we ordered was flat and tasted off. We requested the lady at the bar if she could give us a replacement for it or at least a refund since we couldn’t drink it. After showing us attitude for a good 10 minutes, we got refunded for the coke. The lady then proceeded to ORDER us to leave and called security on us just because we asked for a replacement for our drink. She called security and we requested that we would leave as soon as we finish our meal. Further she THREATENED TO CALL THE COPS on us FOR A $3 REFUND. I’ve never seen such treatment with a customer ever. I’m definitely never coming back here
Great patio in the summer!! The inside space it pretty small so I've only gone here for take out or to use the patio in the summer. The drinks are good skinny spicy marg! and the food is really good too. Would recommend trying it out!
Fun, low key vibe. They have tons of patio seating and fun lawn games like ladder golf. Excellent margaritas and yummy food with plenty of vegetarian options.
Great place for tacos. Atmosphere on the patio was awesome, staff was quick and efficient, and they have a few lawn games to play. I had 1 tempura Mahi Mahi and 1 grilled Mahi Mahi taco and I loved the grilled pineapple added. It left a wonderful sweet finish in my mouth. My wife had 1 spicy chicken grilled, and 1 spicy chicken tempura taco. She devoured it hers as well. 5 stars for great service and excellent food!
I use to really like this restaurant but then the proportion of meat declined as well as the quality. Everything vaguely tastes of pineapple which isn’t in the ingredients and the chips are NASTYnot spicy but the worst “spice” you’ve ever tasted. If you go into the restaurant instead of ordering online the owner is over the top weird. I really wish to give them more stars but it’s disappointment after disappointment.
Dropped in for breakfast today and had the best breakfast tacos I've ever had. Cooked to order, just wonderful. Thanks for the side of chips and salsa, Ed. Fuzzy Dust could be my next go to seasoning! We will be back and we'll tell our friends!
