Located at the top of the Ossington strip, Salt wine bar offers a modern progressive approach to Iberian/Canadian tapas. Salt is a bustling, cozy, communal tapas bar with great energy. Our guests enjoy artisanal cheeses, Iberian charcuterie and an excellent variety of small plate dishes. Chef Dave Kemp is strongly committed to using seasonal and local products whenever possible. Our cellar contains an extensive list of Portuguese and Spanish wines which complement each and every dish.

Not great. Photos on site are very different than reality. Small portions. Better spots in the area.

Extensive wine menu, great iberian eats/small plates for sharing. Intimate low light ambiance that's fun for dates.

Some of the most delicious good I've ever had. Highly recommended. We tried 6 different tapas and they are all very good. If I had to pick one item that is a must try,  it would be the beef sliders.

Amazing little gem in the city.  We thought we were dining inside a wine cellar.  Food was very good and service was excellent. Must try if you like Portuguese/Spanish wines and tapas.

Came here on a recent cold afternoon looking for a heated patio.  We had the patio to ourselves, although the heater admittedly did not emit much heat.  We enjoyed a selection of tapas with the highlights being the fried chicken and ribs.  Staff were mindful of Covid protocols.

Tapas is amazing! Very trendy place with great service. I dont know if I liked wine or coctails more. Interier is beautiful. I will definitly come again here with my girls!!!

Amazing tapas, and a great venue for drinks/food with friends. We ordered the chicken and foie pâté, the Alaskan King Crab, scallops, patatas bravas with chorizo, wagyu beef sliders, and the gnocchi. The gnocchi was a standout, while the patatas bravas were nothing special. Everything else was great. The cocktails here are tasty too!

Just an all around good place for dinner. I have been here a couple of times and the service has been fantastic every time. They accommodated my avocado allergy and brought the food out perfectly timed. Be sure to try the Frois Gras, butter chicken and wagu beef sliders!!!
