Had an absolutely wonderful time here at Bar Vendetta. Sat on the gorgeous albeit a bit small patio, were served with smiles and incredible professionalism. The food was sensational; seasoned and cooked perfectly. Highlights for me were the meatballs and the Cacio e Pepe crown, with ricotta and lemon. Just divine. Drinks are a little pricey, but this is a super place for some savoury and sumptuous food.
Fantastic experience. Snagged a seat out in the back patio, which was cozy and full of good vibes. A solid date spot! Meatballs to start, and then we ordered the spaghetti and rigatoni. All were fresh, full of flavor and deceptively filling. The Honey Trap and Waiting for Sunrise were the standout cocktails. Staff were friendly and attentive.
Came here with my sister for dinner and had a really lovely time. Love the cozy atmosphere - the interior has a vintage decor with warm accents. Every dish was absolutely fantastic, every pasta was perfectly cooked and seasoned and the kale salad we got was huge. Our server was so genuinely kind - made us feel at home. Will happily return with loved ones in the future. If youre looking for warm delicious non pretentious food - this is the spot.
Wow this place is simply incredible. Great and drinkable cocktails, amazing pasta, amazing service. Beautiful set up. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I had in Toronto. Can’t wait to return!
Absolutely wonderful. Just got back from our first anniversary dinner on the patio and could not be happier. The food is extraordinary only to be matched by the service. Excellent wine recommendation and incredibly delicious food, from appetizer to desserts.
Great experience. The server was super helpful with wine and food selections. The ambiance was great, and the interior is beautiful. All the food was delicious, the burrata was the stand out. Super cool spot for dinner, to bring a date or otherwise. They have a sister spot across the street called cocktail bar, you can imagine what they serve.
Came by for dinner and enjoyed our time. We had comfortable booth seats, although our table was a bit small. The rosemary focaccia was sensational, and we placed multiple orders for it. The crown cacio e pepe was delicious and a fun spin on a classic. The rigatoni surf n' turf was unique and flavourful. The meatballs were hearty, although the garlic bread was tough to bite. The service was okay but not great. However, we’ll definitely give it another try next time we look for a pasta fix. 5/5 for the food 3/5 for the service
The decor and ambiance inside was great. The staff was super friendly and all-around wonderful. The spaghetti pomodoro was alright. However, I think most people could probably make something similar tasting at home. The burrata was alright. I have no real complaints but the food was nothing exciting either. Highlight is definitely the vibe and the staff.
came here for my birthday & had such a great time. the food & drinks were delicious, bathrooms were clean, waiter was so nice, atmosphere was great. they have vegetarian options as well. try the olive oil fig cake. you won’t be disappointed. would definitely come again.
Such a cute Italian restaurant! My friend and I sat at the table/bar top right along the front window so it was really cozy. Service was really great, and the food was even better. The meatballs and cacio e pepe crown were the highlights of the meal. The whipped ricotta bruschetta was also really nice and fresh because the tomatoes were super plump and juicy. Looking forward to trying out another seasonal menu!
