Rating: 4.6 stars. My fiance and I have decided Archive is the gem of wine bars in this city. They have a winning combination of an extensive cellar with amazing unique wines and a creative kitchen staff turning out delicious, shareable small plates. Everything is made in-house and is seriously good quality. The service is not rushed to get you out the door. They are extremely knowledgeable and are more than happy to have an excellent conversation about all things wine and food. We did the blind wine-tasting flight and a few dishes off the menu and we found ourselves staying almost until closing. Cheers to good food, good wine and good times
Cozy spot to sit down and have some wine. There is indoors and outdoors seating. Friendly staff.
Nice atmosphere.. The food was good! Beef tataki Friendly staffs : Enjoyed good wine there. The only bad? thing was the space was sooooo small. It’s a very tiny/cozy wine bar.
Really tasty food options and fantastic wine list including a ton by the glass options which is always appreciated. Service was friendly, fast to deliver our food and drinks but we did have empty drinks on the table for a while before they came by to check on us, also took a while to get the bill and we had to get up and ask for it at the bar. Other than that, I think it is a great little spot for wine and shareable snacks.
Absolutely outstanding wine list and above board hospitality - one of the finest wine bars in Toronto. Bravo.
Very amazing and small place with extravagant food that pairs beautiful with a natural wine that brings an explosion of flavour. The duck, grey owl cheese, and rabbit are must have with an orange wine or medium red wine. Definitely coming back and recommend others to go as well
Nice cozy small place. Their menu is different, you should try it. Chairs aren’t very comfortable if you have plan to sit for a few hours. Overall good experience!
Excellent selection of wine, attentive service and recommendations, and very tasty, shareable type plates. Don't miss this spot!
Archive is THE wine bar in Toronto for many many reasons. Cozy, intimate with an incredible ever changing wine list with lots of options. The team are all pros but not snobs and their cellar is deep so you can try things you won't see elsewhere. Their food menu changes and is crafted for wine. Just superb
There are a lot of wine bars in the city, but amongst them, Archive is a special place. Venue is cozy and feels like its been plucked-up from Europe and dropped into Toronto. Service is knowledgeable and not snooty... you'll also refreshingly notice no great rush to flip the table. Wine selection is amazing, as you would expect, but perhaps the secret star of the show is the food with a perfect mix of tapas as well as cheese or charcuterie boards. Get there early, no reservations, and order that extra glass so that you can stay a little longer.
